Is Matt Ryan No Longer A Fantasy Stud?
Started the year out on fire, hasn't reached 16 fantasy points or more in 4 of his last 5 games. He looked pretty pedestrian today against a weak Saints defense. I think we can all take him out of the top-tier fantasy QB conversation.....at least for now.

Are Matt Ryan owners feeling a little uneasy going into the fantasy playoffs now?

Yes, I was about to start a thread about this after tonight's performance. The 5 pick game vs Arizona a week ago and a pretty weak game vs the Saints D tonight is cause for concern. I will probably start Freeman over him in Week 15 if I can get that far.

couldn't be any more right. If you didn't trade him after his hot start I don't know what you were thinking. I remember people trying to trade rodgers to get him as well as some solid RBs.

Ryan still has many great years ahead of him, many great receivers to throw to

I got Ryan with RGIII as my back up in most leagues. Coming into this week Ryan had more points overall so I've been starting him. If RG has another good week I'll be starting him next week.

I like Ryan. I know he is not a stud,
But its hard to part with him...

i almost made a trade a couple weeks back where i wouldve gotten megatron and ryan but given up brady and a few others...as much as i love megatron, i am so glad i kept brady over ryan. brady carried me to a W last week where i wouldve lost with ryan...now he had a bad game in the most crucial week of the fantasy season (for me at least)...im not saying he is a bad option at qb, but i am glad i dont own him thats for sure!

He was. For the first half of the season, he was a tier-1 QB. He was in the same company as Brees, Brady, etc. He had a lot of hype going into this season because of the Falcons new passing offense. Looks like things have calmed down, and he is back to being a top 7-12 QB.

Has done great, considering where he was drafted. He has carried me to a 9-3 record, and currently in 1st place. I could of used more points from him last night though.

He WOULD be a stud if the Falcons had a running game. He didn't start going bad until defenses started ignoring the run.

I dont know, but I do know guys like Palmer, Romo and Dalton have been more productive the last 4-5 weeks.

That's interesting in one of my fantasy leages I traded Ryan for Brady. I went ahead and made the trade.

You must have exceptionally low standards for labeling someone a "stud" then. In contrast, if Prince Fielder has a three or four week stretch where he hits .220 with 2 home runs and 5 RBI, is he a "shit fantasy player"?

The body of work is what you look at sir.
