he said he wanted a better rb than rodgers which is fine by me since i want him for the future, i told him bowe and bush for andre and alex green.. waiting for a reply

Texans have more competitive teams coming up on the schedule. These first 5 weeks have been mostly blow out types, where the Texans jumped out fast and really just ran the ball to control the game. Plus the coach is talking how they need to get A.Johnson more involved.

Coach Gary Kubiak said he's "got to a better job of getting [Andre Johnson] involved."

Over the last four games, Johnson is averaging 2.2 catches for 41.0 yards with one touchdown. His 31 targets on the season rank 50th in the league, a reminder that the Texans run to win now and often take the air out of the ball while nursing leads. "Other guys are making plays because of Andre, I can tell you that, because they're paying so much attention to him, but still need to get him more involved with what we're doing, so that's my responsibility," Kubiak said. The Texans figure to need some extra scoring against the Packers this Sunday night.

I was thinking about trading him too, but I know as soon as I do, he will be putting up better numbers. I'm 5-0, and have been scoring at will, so I have the team to keep him rostered and see how he gets more involved.

Andre is a tough guy to depend on, because he will have games where he only has 2 or 3 catches because the Texans won't need to throw the ball. In a perfect world, the Texans would like to run the ball 40-45 times and only throw the ball about 25 times. Texans only throw the ball when they have to.

I think Andre will bounce back nice this week against GB. But if your looking for a consistent WR, I'd look elsewhere. I'm not crazy about Andre this year.

yea thats kind of what im thinking, the name sounds good as my wr2, i like bowe alot, just not sure if i should expect same results out of him or sell high now just in case he loses some value..

B.Quinn hit D.Bowe on a 15 yard TD, that was called back because of penalty. So I hope he can keep getting it to D.Bowe.

My opponent has Bowe this week. Definitely feel a lot better facing off against Bowe with Brady Quinn throwing to him. Bowe should still have a decent game, TB has been awful. However, coming off a bye, I'd expect the Bucs defense to look better.
