I get a funny feeling that MTSU is going to score and have a lead after the 1st quarter. I do like the plus money in the first quarter but is somewhat risky. MDSU has trailed in 3 of the 4 games at halftime. IN last year's game, FAU caught some breaks in winning 27-14. MDSU turned the ball over 4 times which led to some easy scoring opportunities for FAU. I think FAU is going to feel battered after a tough non-conference to start the season. Anyone have any comments on this game?

Found out that FAU has a key injury in this game. Charles Pierre, RB for FAU, has a turf toe and may not be able to go.

If the injury forces FAU's offense into a one dimensional offense then MTS should cover. Have not seen any of these teams play.

Went and saw them lose to Troy thought they were very bad, but they beat an improving Maryland team then the next week played a good Kentucky team tough 20-14 then lost to a good Ark ST. team 31-14.Fau only win is UAB but have lost to very good teams Texas,Minn, & Mich. ST but I like MTSU in this one GL all!!!!!!!

also, FAU was real real fast last year and almost beat a few good teams. I mean they almost beat texas last year @ home, but got smoked this year by texas..... Their due for one of their old style of games and why not do it on tues. night on national television for everyone to see prob. the only game of the year.

Speed kills and i saw that happend to middle tenn....so im going to take the points and go with FAU. Although i dont think moneyline will cover....i think if middle wins it'll be last minute and not by more than 3.

I thought FAU held up pretty well physically vs Michigan State in that game but the driving rain kept anyone from passing much! Still, I thought they would get pushed around more! I know absolutely nothing about Middle Tenn. but FAU should score on somebody their own size...wouldn't worry about their troubles vs the big boys!

The offenses have not been bad vs. like competition. FAU put up 49 points vs. UAB and they really didn't have a chance to do much vs Texas and two Big Ten schools. MTSU put up 24 vs. Maryland.

Also both teams put up a lot of points in Sun Belt play last year.

FAU has put up no less than 27 in their last 8 conf. games, & no less than 30 last 5 conf.......along with the 49 hung on UAB....., as LT states, they seem to muster some decent offense vs. other bottom feeders.

There has got to be something said about MTSU gaining more yards than both oppnents in games against Maryland and Kentucky!!!! (notably passing yards)

I couldn't agree more with your assessment, EP36! I've got the birthday ML on the Owls for my Mom, but my assessment of this game is the UNDER is the smart play so I'm in for 2 units. Behind you all the way, and not just because you're a fan of the best team in the NFL.
