There has got to be something said about MTSU gaining more yards than both oppnents in games against Maryland and Kentucky!!!! (notably passing yards)

Im not trying to bump this thread.....but, just in case anybody missed this I see this as being the only good piece of evidence for either side this game......MTSU -2.5

I couldn't agree more with your assessment, EP36! I've got the birthday ML on the Owls for my Mom, but my assessment of this game is the UNDER is the smart play so I'm in for 2 units. Behind you all the way, and not just because you're a fan of the best team in the NFL.

I like FAU tonite although I don't know much about these teams? I did see FAU vs Mich. St. in a driving rain...they held up fairly well physically although neither team had to worry about a passing game! FAU won the Sun Belt last year, won a bowl game, and went 8-5 overall. They return 18 players including QB Rusty Smith, their entire receiving corp, and 4 O-lineman & 6 of the def. front 7! They were 4-0 on the road vs the Sun Belt! Middle Tenn only returns 12 starters so I think the wrong team is favored here despite some weaker efforts by FAU against their non-conference schedule!

Its all up to Rusty Smith FAU's QB he was all sun belt last year and stuggled against the "big boys" but hes been sacked 1 time all year he should have time today. I think he has a big game. MTS has a 2.6 ypc on the year that not very good. If you cant run the football could be a long night.

Guys, read my writeup on this game (In my Freak Pics thread). It's not often you have a juicy betting opportunity like this one. FAU is by far the better team here, with by far the better coach, and the better QB. Please take FAU on the ML. This is a very easy play!!!

Teaser Im usually on your sides but not tonite....Big bad Rusty had a hell of a year .....LAST YEAR....I would really expect a good team to score more points in the three games they have gotten slaughtered in....BCS teams or not....Again...MTSU outgained total yards over Kentucky and Maryland, while FAU was lucky to get a field goal against similar competition.....I just see too many people taking FAU for what they did last year....otherwise MTSU is ahead in all categories.....This Year...

ok we'll see at the time MTSU played maryland the terps were still trying to find their offense... The terps scored 14 on deleware the week before... Deleware !! We'll see I dont think MTSU would have done much better vs michigan state, Texas, and minn but we'll see MTSU already has 2 sun belt loses I think FAU will do much better tonight against somebody close to their talent level. game starts in 20 min my bets are in in about a hour I'll be able to tell you if im screwed or not... betting on sunbelt Teams is like betting on the WNBA you have to be ready for a few missed layups... That pass that FAU's WR dropped should have been caught but it bounces off his hands and is a Interception... theres a reason these kids play in the sunbelt conf.

they have plenty of potential to go over. But both team lack discipline sustain any long drives. Always some type of flag flies in to push both team backward.

yeah the first ref gave it a bad spot the head lines moved it forward on the measurement when it wasnt enough... even my girlfriend spotted that shit. Tough year for the refs. I cant believe that kid just fumbled on the one yard line like that. WOW
