    How the hell did John Brantley beat out cam newton?

    Brantley has no idea how to handle a blitz. Newton is a much better fit in urban's System. really like to know the thinking behind the depth chart on this one.

    i'd buy that if he wasn't already commited and on the sidelines..., brantley got pulled... well not pulled but alot more reed/burton at qb brantley aint shit

    Brantley hasn't thrown a good ball all season. Overthrows wide open receivers and is a statue out there. If Newton stayed, UF would be probably be Top5 right now. Brantley is the wrong guy for that offense but is playing since his family were Gators.

    Newton was ahead of Brantley on the depth chart when he was at florida. Then he got charged with felony burglary, and Tebow said he was coming back for his senior year so Newton decided to transfer.
