What you guys think about Stanford -21 vs Duke next week. I don't lock a lot of games in early, but I am thinking of locking this one up now.

Guys I am going to add this game to my spread sheet but it is not until next Sat. I may be taking the bait on a trap but I will take my chances. I know Stanford is going to try and get Luck the Heisman for sure, and they have a soft schedule for a lot of games. I will ride the train with them until they prove that I shouldn't.

Took a miracle for us to lose the spread on the Miami game. I would take the same bet again because we were on the right side. Great week but this game leaves a sour taste.

Personally, I like the game myself. I am going to hold off a bit right now to see if I can get a better line but I do agree with your take on the game. I don't see Duke covering this one.

I don't normally lock in a game early either, but I went ahead and made a small play already on Stan -21. I don't think the line is going to get any better so I went ahead and made a small play on it. I may put more on it as the week goes and I finish taking a look at a few other matchups.

NFL pick. Had a good year last year in NFL but anyone can say that, so tail at your own risk until you get a feel for how I am doing. Really liking the first play here. These two defenses where both in the top 5 in defensive yds allowed last year and in the top 10 with points allowed. The saints had every RB on the roster injured along with multiple defensive players and the Pack played the post season with a beat up roster as well. The saints have made some aggressive moves on the defensive side of the ball as well as upgraded their stable of running backs. GB will be a tough challenge, I honestly believe the Saints get the straight up win here but I will grab the points.

I also like the UNDER in the Saints/Packers games but I do not hardly ever play totals

With you all the way on this one. I just think that early on THIS season, offenses may have a slight advantage over defenses with the limited practice time. I do believe that Green Bay has a better defense, but I like this game to be close (FG difference either way) and down to the wire.
Not much for trends but for what it is worth, the last time these two offenses faced each other, they combined for 80 points with Brees throwing 4 TDs with Rodgers throwing three picks. That game was on MNF back in 2008 with the Saints winning 51-29.
