I was with you on the South Carolina game this weekend. I was like...wtf...four seconds left and a safety? Are you kidding me? Well, this World Series should be good. I don't know a thing about baseball, but I am tempted to take the Cardinals to win the whole thing. What are your thoughts Experience?

I have bet baseball all season and I'm an avid follower of the game and I think that the pitching staff and the hot bats of the rangers will over power the cards. I know I'm a homer but I just don't see the cards pulling this one out because after carpenter I think we will be able to hit and score alot of runs (even though Jackson is on fire at the moment.) what I am doing is taking the rangers for the series (2*) and if carpenter wins game one I will put more on the rangers at probably +money to win the series (2*). BOL with what you decide.

I have to respect your wager since you have a lot more baseball knowledge than I do. Admittedly, I have only been watching the playoffs and your Rangers have been a covering machine...much like the Cards (when I have bet them). Cruz has been unstoppable and has done things the likes of only Ruth and Staub have done. The ONLY thing I was thinking, and it very well may be flawed, was that Milwaukee and Philly both had very good offensive teams this year and St. Louis beat them both. In fact they beat the Brewers soundly 12-6 in the last game. I guess the thinking has to be that Rangers pitching then is head and shoulders better than Philly and the Brewers can shut down the hitting of the Cardinals? If so, I don't even think Carpenter gets a win because he wasn't that impressive in the Cardinals extra inning victory in the game he pitched. They even pulled him in the fifth when he gave up three runs. Thanks for your perspective...I was trying to get value, but it seems the "smart" bet may be the Rangers.
