ok guys, we all know how when the season gets going that the lines are derived from Sagarins power rankings. Well, his power rankings as of preseason show one HUGE mismatch on the board. UAB should be -4 according to his power, but they are -14 over FAU. Just food for thought. So.Carolina should be 10 instead of 14, the rest are within a point or two.

I'll be posting Nfl on this site. I've done well through the years. But am new to posting. I'll try to include short write-ups with my selections. Selections will be based on 1-5 unit scale. I hope to do well and make us all some of that football money.
I'm a bit leery on pre-season, but I firmly believe pre-season has more to do with coachs philosophy than any other factor.
So for tonight 9/2/10 I'm taking:
Bengals -6
These teams have played week #4 pre-season for years. Marvin Lewis is 6-1 week #4 last 7 years. Caldwell is 1-6 last 7 years.
Heres a look at the last 5 years scores
2009: Bengals 38, Colts 7
2008: Bengals 27, Colts 7
2007: Bengals 14, Colts 6
2006: Bengals 20, Colts 3
2005: Bengals 38, Colts 0

I don't understand how the Cardinals are favored in this contest, let alone by 5.5 points. In his three Preseason Week 4 games, Ken Whisnehunt has shown no interest in winning, suffering defeats of 19-0, 28-14 and 21-3. That 19-0 score was a defeat to Josh McDaniels, who doesn't care about winning in the preseason either.
