With the #1 and #2 teams getting a bye, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5, then the lower ranked winner faces #1 and the other faces #2 for the sugar and rose bowl. I dont think 8 is necessary, but 6 will be perfect. IMO. Clearly not for this year, but in the future.

They got the right 4 teams but TCU never should have been bumped to third last week. That was just not right.They had no intention of keeping them there.

No byes either, it will leave teams playing the week before at disadvantage IMHO
