is this a case of bad luck or just a bad way to bet roulette?

i never really play roulette because i really dont know any strategy to play with it... any help would be appreciated so i dont lose everything right away lol thanks

First of all he was drunk, so all ideas of money management were floating in his booze.. If my math is correct he started with approx 2500 and bet 100 each spin.... COMMON sense would say after maybe 10 spins " hmmmmm , I am not doing too good with this $100 a spin each time, maybe I shud cut back to 25 a spin and maybe build my bankroll up a little bit again"... So to answer your question its wasnt bad luck...it was sheer stupidity and NOT a good way to bet....lol Also when losing that much instead of trying for a singular number at 35-1 odds, bet red or black for even money or 1 thru 12 , etc for 2-1 odds.... its not much but it helps you sustain your bankroll for awhile...
