    Martingaling in the Casino
How many of you have had to max out a bet in the casino (SBR) by martingaling. Highest I ever got was 128pts.

There are a few articles about the Martingale System on this website, however here I wanted to cover a little bit more information on Martingales Probability and the flaws of using this method in an online casino.

Actually reverse Martingaling was the most effective strategy I ever used in the SBR Casino. I turned 500 pts int 24,000 once. I did it playing craps. Didn't use it every bet though. I bet like 10-20 chips per hand until there was a pattern within the system that was noticable to me. So if I recognized there was a pattern like 2 Dont passes, followed by 1 Pass Line, I would reverse martingale, and then just do consistent bets until some sort of pattern was present again.
Regardless of what SBR says, at times the result is predictable. You will notice frequent patterns like 1 pass line followed by 1 DP, or 2PL, 1 DP, and often times the sequence will repeat.

For example say you lose 6 Pass Lines in a row. After maybe another 40-50 hands, you see almost an identical result, where the Dont Pass line wins. If you can maintain your chip stack or stay close, you can exploit these patterns, and make some profit. Obviously having 500+ points helps, but I think you could make a small profit consistently if you had 100-150 pts.

Martingaling will work in the short term, but as someone who plays in online casinos frequently (over 1 million in handle), I have probably lost 7-9 consecutive hands/rolls consecutively in almost every session.

I too have noticed patterns on the SBR tables but just chalked it up to coincidence. It's interesting to read that another has seen these patterns as well.
