    Surprise! Blackjack is rigged!
I just got a message the other day about how b/c I don't make enough posts on this site my 6 points a day were gonzo.

No sweat, says I. It's really not about the points. I just like playing the casino and betting on the sports and whatnot.

So the casino has always treated me pretty fairly. 98% of the time I play blackjack and I go up and down, no big whoop. It's just fun to mess around.

Surprise surprise!!! (As Gomer Pyle would say) All of a sudden I get 19's across the board playing 3-handed and the dealer hits 5 cards for 20. And it started just recently when my points were taken away.

Lesson learned Lou. I'll just stick to sports. Take your rigged ******* casino, shove the fucker way up there, don't tell me about your bullshit poker with Commodore 64 graphics anymore, and have a good one.

Edit: The 19's example was just one of a huge trend. It's absolutely ridiculous. Lesson learned.

It seems like you're propounding an sbr conspiracy theory. Do you really think that Lou controls the individual outcomes of the sbr casino blackjack? That's what you've implied, and I'd like to see you claim it explicitly (it could be true, it just seems like a ridiculous accusation).

It seems to me that you're probably an inefficient and ignorant blackjack player who is going through one of the extreme downturns that inefficient blackjack players regularly experience. You must understand that I'm just pointing out the lack of evidence in your argument. I really want to believe you, but there's no way I can with your ridiculous accusation.

I've never thought this was rigged. There just seems no incentive for them to rig it. It plays fine. I support the argument about inefficient play. When I first played the game, I felt the same about 19s, 18s, etc. We seem to forget when we can make 20s and 21s on the 3rd or 4th card almost as often.

And it has to be almost as often. If we were doing it MORE than the dealer, the game would be >10% positive expectation, and thus, never be offered unless roughly modified. In Nevada, it's been modified a lot in the last 10+ years because the tradiitonal single deck 3/2 BJ is beatable and too many people know how.

Just keep a running track of your blackjacks vs. the house. If you combine everyone's actual evidence of say 200 hands of blackjack the player and the house should be 50%. I can tell you that with over 1000 hands played I'm well behind EV. I could just be a victim of -variance.
