Leaning Faber and Kongo at the moment. I'm drunk. Want to fade Jimmo but will stay away from that fight. If Cam Gigandet wasn't anorexic and shaved his head, he would be... Ryan Jimmo.

Will revisit thread in the AM when not as drunk and can type more.

(contemplating a flier on James Head, but I'm pretty sure that is the drunkness; Faber and Kong is for real though, I think)

Did Boetsch look a little puffier than usual at weigh-ins?

I thought maybe. Also thought he was moving very very slowly. Haven't watched old weighin tapes to see if thats his usual MO.

Interestingly enough this is his first fight at middleweight without Rampage on the card. Found that kinda weird tbh.

Overall I'd say he looks about the same.

I'm more concerned with the way they act then their actual physical appearance. Watch Rampage climb the stairs when he was against Bader, I was pounding that line immediately.

Well here are my thoughts on these fights. At these odds i would have to take Faber but i don't like all the pressure he is getting lately with people saying this is his last chance at the title. To much of that going around. I think if he gets past round one he eventually wears Renan down. He needs to come in confident or he might get wax. I think the Faber who fought Aldo would get killed by this version of Faber so we shall see.
I can't stand this douchebag Head but those odds on Ebersole are a little two much for my liking.
Boy Timmy looks huge compared to Lombard. The simple size difference would make me take Timmy. He gets this out of round one i think he takes it. Live betting would be what i would wait for in this fight. Cris Clements i know nothing about but i would still take him over Riddle who sucks. Perosh looked awful against Crocop but for some reason he has turned it around or just just fought a few cans. Time for him to lose but he does have a size advantage. Mcgee and Ring should be a good fight. I think Mcgee is a tough kid but this is in Calgary and a close decision doesn't really favor McGee. Jordan/Kongo I hear all these great things about Jordan but he looks like a fat mess. Kongo is Kongo. Nice hands but terrible defense. Stann says Jordan is the strongest guy in the UFC. Will the strength help him with a guy with better hands? This is another i would wait for live betting.

I think that's kinda dumb. The fight could be over quick, and if it's not and Jordan is taking over the fight as expected, then the live betting line on him will be really juiced up.

Did you figure out if the slowness was a common thing with him?

Inconclusive. He's always a bit of a slow mover up there, but he did seem just a bit slower than usual. Not enough to change my plays either way.

he's been fighting at LHW subsequent to crocop.

Who do you mean? Rampage? Yeah, of course, but even if he hadn't missed weight it was apparent he'd had a really tough time.

I also look for the guy's ENERGY and VITALITY. Is the guy pumped and bouncing around? Or is he spaced out and his vital energy is drained to the hilt? Sonnen looked pretty out of it at the last weigh-in. He seemed to still be in that head space during the fight.

Or is he spaced out and his vital energy is drained to the hilt? Sonnen looked pretty out of it at the last weigh-in. He seemed to still be in that head space during the fight.
that could do a lot with a fighters personality though. you got guys like matt riddle who always act like a douche. while other guys never show emotion.

Wannabet is on that phaggy time for sure, but checking for penile turgidity at the weigh ins is still legit, imo.
