125 lbs.: Kyoji Horiguchi vs. Neil Seery
Four straight UFC wins put Kyoji Horiguchi (16-2) in line to face champion Demetrious Johnson, who tapped the Japanese wunderkind at the very last second of the fight. He returned to his winning ways in Sept. 2015 with a decision over the very tough Chico Camus.
He’s knocked out nine of his professional opponents.
"2 Tap," rather appropriately, went 2-2 in his first four UFC bouts, one of the losses a very competitive one against Brad Pickett. The other part of his nickname showed up in his most recent bout, where he submitted Jon delos Reyes in his native Dublin.
Neil Seery (16-11) owns 12 stoppage wins, split evenly between knockouts and submissions.
Seery is -- to use a massive cliche -- scrappy. He’s durable, skilled in all areas, and capable of exploiting any small opening he’s given. I just don’t think that’s enough against Horiguchi, who has a considerable edge in speed and power.
His Karate stylings also seem well-equipped to overwhelm Seery’s gritty boxing.
Horiguchi is still young and constantly improving. Now under the tutelage of American Top Team, I expect great things out of him in the near future. He batters the ever-sturdy Seery for a wide decision win.
Prediction: Horiguchi via unanimous decision

Leon Edwards (10-3) dropped a narrow decision in his Octagon debut against Claudio Henrique da Silva, but proved his chops in subsequent victories over Seth Baczynski and Pawel Pawlak. He couldn’t maintain his momentum against The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 21 winner Kamaru Usman, who steadily overpowered the English banger for a unanimous decision.
He replaces the injured Peter Sobotta on little more than one month’s notice.
As Team Nelson’s first pick, Dom Waters (9-4) lost to Mike Ricci in TUF 16's round of 16. He made his first official UFC appearance in July 2015 and has fought twice as a late replacement, losing to George Sullivan and Dong Hyun Kim. He stands three inches taller than Edwards at 6’1."
Another day, another Waters showdown where he demonstrates that he’s not UFC caliber. Edwards is a quality prospect who had the misfortune of facing an elite wrestler in Usman, but he’s still worth watching. His power striking and takedown defense ought to be more than enough to hand Waters his third-straight loss.
The real question here is whether the durable Waters can withstand Edwards’ heavy hands and kicks. I say no -- Edwards lays him out sometime in the second.

Yuta Sasaki (18-3-2) roared out of the gate in his UFC career with a 66-second submission of Roland Delorme, extending his unbeaten streak to 12 straight. His recent efforts haven’t been quite as successful, suffering consecutive stoppage losses to Leandro Issa and Taylor Lapilus.
"Ulka" replaces Paddy Holohan, who was forced to retire because of a blood issue.
The towering Willie Gates (12-6) rebounded from his debut loss to John Moraga with a brutal first-round beating of Darrell Montague. He fought again just a month later, replacing Ian McCall against Dustin Ortiz and taking a frightful thrashing in the process.
He has stopped nine opponents overall, five of them via knockout.
"Perhaps this is just me very well-documented bias toward Japanese mixed martial arts (MMA) talking, but I’m leaning toward Sasaki here. Gates relies extensively on being ludicrously tall for the Flyweight division. Sasaki’s even taller at 5’10" and lethal on the mat, a bad sign considering Gates’ struggles with wrestling.
Issa is a world-class grappler, while Lapilus proved significantly better than expected in his subsequent fight with Erik Perez. Sasaki overwhelms Gates in the clinch and eventually chokes him out.
Prediction: Sasaki def. Gates via first-round submission

Sanity you should know by now I like to fade Asians in the UFC..
I'm not very high on Willy Gates though and this Asian dude has ground.. Little nervous with this Asian fade so I'm gonna hedge.. Not sure the big weight cut for Sasaki and division drop means much.
That being said - Willy Gates ITD and Sasaki by Sub as a hedge for profit are my initial thoughts.. The Sasaki/Gates props still aren't out yet.. Gotta sit on this one for a bit...
Reasons for the prop picks in my mind -

155 lbs.: Rustam Khabilov vs. Chris Wade
Suplex master Rustam Khabilov (18-3) suffered his first two-fight losing streak following a perfect (3-0) start to his UFC career, tapping to a Benson Henderson rear-naked choke and dropping a split decision to Adriano Martins. Though he had a tougher time of it than expected, he re-entered the win column in February with a decision over Norman Parke.
He replaces the injured Rashid Magomedov on short notice.
Chris Wade (11-1) ended his UFC debut in just 72 seconds, but had to go the distance to take out Lipeng Zhang and Christos Giagos. He reminded fans he could still finish in his most recent bout, where he choked out Ultimate Fighter competitor Mehdi Baghdad late in the first.
Four of his wins have come by submission, two via guillotine and two via rear-naked choke.
I’m not sure if Khabilov lost his mojo after the Henderson fight or what, but his last two fights have seen a serious lack of aggression from the Sambo specialist. Still, the stylistic match up favors him here, as he’s got the edge in striking and should be able to hold his own in the wrestling.
Wade doesn’t have Henderson’s endless cardio, Martins’ strength and boxing, or Parke’s volume. Expect Khabilov to box up the young prospect, mixing in his trademark throws along the way.
Prediction: Khabilov via unanimous decision

Injuries have kept him to just three fights in the last four years, though he’s won all three and scored a "Performance of the Night" bonus in the process.
He has stopped 11 opponents overall, six via knockout.
The six-fight win streak for Garreth McLellan (13-3) came to an end at the hands of Bartosz Fabinski’s relentless takedowns in his UFC debut. He managed to right the ship last October with a ground-and-pound beatdown of former Legacy FC champion Bubba Bush in a sizable upset.
The South African will give up two inches of height to "Jycken."
It’s a shame that Cedenblad’s been so banged up; the Swede’s fun to watch and a capable finisher in every area. In this case, though, all he’ll need is his grappling. McLellan’s wrestling game is terribly underdeveloped, a fact I don’t expect to change soon considering he’s already in his mid-thirties.
Cedenblad’s length ought to carry him through the striking until he decides to overwhelm "Soldier Boy" on the mat. "Jycken" chokes him out late in the first.
Prediction: Cedenblad via first-round submission

Hein’s obviously extremely strong and has some decent pop in his left hand, but he’s painfully passive at times. Though he’s currently favored by the bookies, he’s got a stiff challenge ahead of him. Tuck’s the bigger puncher, has a length advantage, and is significantly more aggressive.
The big issue here is that Tuck tends to wilt late. Luckily, Hein doesn’t push the kind of pace that can strain his cardio. Tuck wins enough of the striking exchanges to take the decision victory.
Prediction: Tuck via unanimous decision

155 lbs.: Yan Cabral vs. Reza Madadi
Despite bowing out of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Brazil 2" with a broken hand, Nova Uniao’s Cabral got called up to UFC, where he defeated David Mitchell in his debut. He’s since gone 1-2, sandwiching a submission of Naoyuki Kotani between losses to Zak Cummings and Johnny Case.
Eleven of his wins have come by submission.
A 2-1 start to the UFC career of Reza Madadi (13-4), including an epic comeback submission of Michael Johnson, gave way not to a triumphant run through the division, but to a jail sentence for robbery. He returned after two years away against Norman Parke, who took a clear decision over the Sweden-based Iranian.
He has submitted eight opponents overall.
Despite Cabral’s grappling chops, I favor Madadi. Cabral’s been overwhelmed on the mat before, and while Madadi may not have Cummings’ ridiculous size advantage, his relentless takedown assault can be an absolute chore to deal with. Further, his aggression should work well on the feet, where neither man is a major factor.
Cabral’s dangerous and did far better against Case than I expected, but I’m still calling upset. Madadi grinds his way to a decision win.
Prediction: Madadi via unanimous decision

So for the no scorecards bet.. If the fight goes to the judges there is no action at all? So if JJ wins by D its a wash for no action? Or is it, JJ can win ITD or on the scorecards, but if Cladia wins by judges decision its a wash?
So the only way you could lose this bet is if CG finishes?
But can you only win if JJ finishes? Or can you win on scorecards if JJ wins the D?

From the Video's Ive watched.....Tuck is a no brainer at up to -300......Emmett is weak at best....shitty on the feet and his takedowns (his go to) can be seen a mile away....tuck will finish him and at a min win via decision...

UFC tonight show was interesting.. I couldn't understand a word Arlovski said.. He seems determined and really doesn't like Reem.. Still don't think it will matter. I think Arlovski will fight aggressive and in doing so he will get dropped..

Really starting to like U1.5 in this fight right now at -130. Kinda covers your ass both ways for a round and half if both fighters come out banging.. .. That under might actually be the safest bet as either of these guys can knock each other..

Not sure why people are jumping on Emmet? I understand he is undefeated but records can be deceiving...
He looked ok from video clips facing bums from what I saw.. Emmett really hasn't fought anyone on the level of Tuck yet. Giagos was toughest test so far in his last fight.. Emmett was getting his ass kicked in this fight and probably losing on points until he got the ko late in the 3rd round.. Giagos had 0 head movement and walked into it.. Josh looks like he throws hard, has some wrestling and is a tough guy at best.. Not a high out put pressure striker like storm'n Norman Parks type.. I think Jon Tuck rolls him...
This is the fight.. Josh Emmett is the bald dude with tats breathing hard and bleeding as the fight went on.....

I can't slam it hard against an undefeated fighter but I did throw down a buck fiddy.. I do like Tuck but ya just never can be 100 percent sure betting against any undefeated fighter with 9 pro fights.. It always makes me a little cautious..

Undefeated means that you havent fought anyone. You sound like being undefeated makes you more legit. Youre a crazy bastard sometimes jibby.I can't slam it hard against an undefeated fighter but I did throw down a buck fiddy.. No undefeated just means it's one more thing you have to worry about when betting against it..
Not always so easy to make that 0 go for a few of those stubborn undefeated fighters that just never give up and refuse to lose even when the cards are stacked against them..
I usually give it the 10 pro fight undefeated rule even when they have been facing bums.. This guy Josh Emmett is just under 10 pro fights at 9 wins and I'll bet against him.. If he were at 10 wins or more I would not..
That's a rule I've stood by for years and I stand by it now when betting for or against undefeated fighters in MMA..Comment
