Shit!!!

That spinning back fist changed the fight.. Romero has no gas tank and Jacare could have won that fight if he tried to take Romero down in round 2.. I guess he was too rocked..

not one of those untrained 10-9 seals hit the obvious 10-8 button for R1...next two were 10-9's but R1 was textbook 10-8

I had Souza in 2nd barely, and third.
I thought Jacare was prob up in 1st before he requested 1st Round G&P from Soldier, so 10-9 for me Yoel.

I thought so too. I also thought round 1 to be 10-8 and a draw... Judging sucked again and was off...

Romero deserved the win though.. Not gonna say a robbery..

screwed up the Magny/Gastelum fight the same way (not one "judge" scored the one clear 10-8 properly)...

BUT, they somehow managed to give Maia FIVE 10-8 scores, WTF?!!

That's exactly what I was thinking.. Maybe they changed up judges or something?.. Round 1 a 10-8 and Jacare rounds 2 and 3.. Not one judge had it 10-8 in that first round and not one had it as a draw.. It's a joke..

Agreed, Romero would not do well in a 5 rounder if he gets the title shot next, regardless if it's Rockhold or Weidman. His best opportunity is to take his opponent out within the first 2 rounds, 3 rounds is the max he can handle with his body mass.

Got Luke +135 next, then of course Aldo in the main event!!

the proof of the consistently inconsistent judging is this...

not 1 of the judges scored R1, a textbook 10-8 properly...should have been three 10-8s registered among the 9 scores...but nada...

contrast that to Demian Maia getting FIVE 10-8's out of the 9 scores...

Romero did much more damage to Jacare in R1, than Maia did in any round vs Gunni
