RDA doesn't have an edge anywhere against Pettis. Pettis is faster, more athletic and is super creative in how he puts things together, plus he has a very clear edge standing due to this, and ground is at best a wash for RDA.

Like iv'e said previously all the people RDA beat, Pettis would finish. (or has already finished)

RDA I think has this going for him plekz -

      - He has heart, strong chin, well rounded and needless to say this is for a UFC title shot...

      - 10 fight pro experience edge over Pettis.. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Anthony-Pettis-26627

      - Has shown extreme durability over his MMA career and has excelled being an underdog coming into fights that he is expected not to win..

Even with all that being said I'm not saying RDA is for certain gonna win this but I think he has a decent shot.. If anyone is betting Pettis you may wanna bet the distance bet win at +306..

Another prop to consider is this just for the staying power and the durability factor of RDA.. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Rafael-dos-Anjos-11675

      Sat 3/14 1051 Anjos / Pettis starts round 5 <input id="editx" name="M1_109" size="4"> +149
Oh and the more conservative play which I took... No guarantees though as always...

How many people finished Melendez and Bendo? How many people finishes Cerrone? If you look up durability in MMA those three names can easily be found in a column for top 10 most durable fighters in the UFC. Pettis finished all three in under two rounds. You say RDA is durable?

Last time he fought someone that throws with real bad intentions he got clobbered against Jeremy Stephens. I give Cerrone a real good shot at beating RDA in a rematch aswell, now that Cerrone has his head together again.

Look at RDA's record, he beat who exactly? Sure RDA can land that one big shot and be the first ever to put Pettis out but he'll lose a decision, and if Pettis hurts him he'll finish.

Oh and unless Khabib have turned into a superior level striker while rehabing his ACL, Pettis puts him down aswell. If he's still doing that retarded wild swinging sh't he was doing prior to getting injured he's gonna get HURT when facing a quality striker period. But against Pettis? He'll get bodied in TWO.

Yeah, he flash ko'd Bendo and grappled with Cerrone for three rounds where he was never even close to putting him away. Pettis hurt Bendo with vicious body kicks and then armbarred him. He also stopped Cerrone in under 1 round.

I'd pick Gilbert to beat RDA.

Plekz has said verbatim what i would have said about the Showtime fight. To save everyone some time just read his post and insert my name. I also believe at those odds he is a much safer pick than his little brother who basically has the same odds to win his match.

I wouldn't go against Showtime against anyone in that division. I will give Dos Anjos this tho. I feel he improves ev ery fight and watching his training makes me believe he has some thinkers in his corner. I was never a fan of his boxing but it has become a lot better than say five fights ago, He is a tough nut but Pettis should roll him. I don't think pressuring Pettis is the right thing to do in this fight. Everyone thinks that is the key to beating him and all these champs. Like pressuring a wood chipper the ability Showtime has.

Your point was good, but then you had to go all hyperbolic desperation mode. This is MMA math, and doesn't matter for shit. Besides RDA finished Bendo quicker than Pettis did, which further shoots that down. You could have just said that Pettis is a much more dynamic and dangerous finisher, and over 5 rounds will likely find and angle and put Anjos away. I have a substantial bet on Pettis ITD -126 my self.
Everything else was unnecessary. Also which line are you giving me on Anjos over Gilbert if they ever fight?

RDA's body has transformed a fair bit from what it was a couple of years ago.
Looks a lot stronger and looks like he's got a lower body fat %

Zuffa will want Khabib as champ if RDA wins, he has a bland personality and doesn't whore himself out very well

Yeah, he definitely has not lived up to the hype that he brought with him to the UFC. But then again, it was mostly because of his last name. Definitely not a finisher like his big brother.

First time poster, long time MMA fan. I'm loving this card. Showtime Pettis is must see tv. I wish I locked Pettis in the distance at -122. Now up to -185. Pettis is a finisher, and now that he's feeling healthy, me thinks he's going for a quick finish. RDA has been looking great recently, but I believe Pettis is on another level. No play yet.

I parlayed Esparza yesterday with Denver nuggets, so I have Esparza+2.32
