Agreed. The more I think about this matchup the more I want to put money on Lawler (should have pulled the trigger when he was +450) or maybe the Lawler points line. I could even see him winning a decision.

Looked ok in first round, i think he won that round, if i remember correctly. He should steal 2 rounds in my book. But far from a lock. And that 3.round he will probably just hang on for dare life.

I'm going to throw everyone a bone. Play Woodley @ +165 or better. Then live bet and hedge with Condit after the 1st round. Woodley will win the first round for sure. In between rounds Woodley will get heavy play. Condit will definitely be + $ after he loses the 1st round. You get both guy's @ + $! GL All!

How can people not bet on Shields at +185 against Lombard? Shields has great wrestling and he will take Lombard down just like Yushin Okami did. He will then lie on top of him for the whole round and do nothing, but he will win every round. Shields has an iron chin and it will be very hard for Lombard to KO him. In my opinion Shields should get the next Welterweight title shot after he beats Lombard.

A) Yushin Okami is quite a bit larger than Jake Shields, Okami is one of the bigger 185'ers around Shields more or less walks around at ~185, much like Lombard.

I think he means in terms of being busy up against the fence in the clinch, like he did vs Woodley. Shields could also stay busy on the outside with kicks. If Lombard fights like he did vs Boetsch he will be defeated.

I think Shields will have a hard time taking Lombard down (unless Lombard gasses). His only way to win (IMO) is if this turns out like the Woodley fight.
