Vick was one of 32 lightweight fighters announced by the UFC to participate in first live season of The Ultimate Fighter reality show.^[2]
Vick won his way into the house when he defeated Dakota Cochrane by split decision after one round.^[3] He was then chosen to be part of Team Cruz as Cruz's fifth pick and ninth overall.
For the first official fight of the show, he was chosen to fight Team Faber's third pick Daron Cruickshank. After a rough first part of the round, Vick landed a knee on Cruickshank as he shot in for a takedown, and won the fight by knockout in the first round.^[4]
His quarter-final fight came against Team Faber's Joe Proctor. Vick was able to dominate the fight, out-striking Proctor on the feet and successfully defending all of Proctor's take down attempts. Vick won the fight by unanimous decision, earning his way into the semi-final round.^[5]
Vick was selected to fight Team Faber fighter and eventual show winner, Michael Chiesa, in the semi-final round. Vick lost the fight via KO in the second round.^[6]

Have a look what Barao makes, its a joke. I watched two cans fight in boxing the other night (Vasyl Lomachenko v Orlando Salido) one of them that won paid the other 15k before the fight cause he didn't make weight. What choice have they got though.

I kinda agree with vaughany but i couldnt resist sanche at plus money. I think the hathaway fight was a fluke to some degree because diego was coming off the big loss to bj and mentally was not in the fight to the degre that i think he normally is. In addition hathaway is a good fighter and that was at 170 pounds. I think diego probably overwhelms jury at some point. Whether or not it is soon enugh in the fight to get the win i dont know. Thats anyones guess.

I'm tempted to take Hendricks by decision at +290 but I'm also considering Not Hendricks ITD at +113 to cover a possible upset by Lawler. I don't see Hendricks beating Lawler on the feet or being able to finish him on the ground. Hendricks has shown a pretty limited top game and will likely have his hands full just trying to hold Lawler down. Lawler himself is sort of an unknown variable at this point, though, as he only recently started training at ATT and hasn't shown enough in his last 3 fights (IMO) to prove that he's made really big improvements. He has a sort of nonchalance which could benefit him under the big lights but may also indicate that he's not taking this opportunity seriously enough. Regardless, any sort of Lawler is a tough fight for Hendricks and I'd be surprised if "Bigg Rigg" got the finish here.
I've been high on Jury since TUF and have never thought that much of Sanchez but I'm actually favoring Sanchez on Saturday night. Diego's wrestling is likely good enough to keep the fight standing (or maybe even take Jury down) and his striking looked good in the Melendez fight. Even if Sanchez gets outlanded on the feet he can still win rounds with his aggression, especially since the fight is in Texas and the crowd should be largely Mexican. At plus odds Diego seems too good to pass up.
