So I just rewatched Diaz vs Miller and Diaz put on a show in that fight.

Not really sure how that translates against Thomson, but I'm thinking Thomson or pass....
I know Thomson will fight smart, but does he have enough skill?

thompson is a real OG in the game. he's been around forever, has a ton of tricks, and knows how to win.
at 34, he is not old compared to a lot of guys. 29-34 are the prime years for a lot of fighters. think karelin said he felt the strongest from 31-34
i would be worried that josh has a lot of miles on his body and has been susceptible to injury and underperformance..
but i've heard good things about him working with victor conte. Conte said it was incredible the level josh was functioning at when he was habitually dehydrated. "shriveled up like a raisin" was how he described it. Conte say josh made a huge improvement from simply doing one thing - drinking more water.
plus, conte is known for cutting edge PEDs and tricking testers and commissions. always be happy when he is on your side

he could stay on the outside and kick diaz all day

Any good striker who's willing to stick to a game plan can beat Nate, as can any good wrestler who doesn't get sucked into a brawl or intimidated. He can beat a lot of guys if they play his game, which many will, but other than that, he doesn't offer much.
