For real, using crypto to evade taxes is probably a terrible idea, esp. if you deal with exchanges.

At this point there are companies that track activities on the blockchain. They can easily link wallets and addresses to people. It might take some time, but figure the government is eventually going to catch up, and you make their job easier by having all your transactions easily retrievable on the various blockchains.

I never once said I despise Bitcoin or crypto. I just think it's worthless and will never be worth anything in the long term. If I despised it I would never use it for sportsbook transfers. That is really the only use for it anyways. But investing in it now is just foolish. It will never go up in value ever again. People got lucky when it went so high and that's great. .

Instead of some of the noobs coming here to complain about things they obviously know nothing about why don’t they just sit back and listen to the people here who have 10 years experience….There are so many guys here, including myself who enjoy helping you to understand, in my view the greatest invention ever created. Once you understand how the thing operates you will change the way you think about a lot of things. Price is irrelevant to me at this point and even if it drops more than what it is i will end up with more scarce coins after this year and the next and the next.

IE, the halving has less and less impact. Where peaks may have hit 2021-12Dec in the past...that is now lengthening well into 2022.

I think Will Clemente is an advocate that the halvings may not matter anymore. He sees the halving as something in the rear-view mirror.

Mining rewards are cut in half every 4 years. Cycles aren't going to be as extreme but they should still exist.

I have heard a lot of different opinions on cycles and the effects of possible economic turns.

Not sure where things are headed, but the lenthening cycle makes sense.

I am hoping we get another run because I am sitting on a bunch of alts I should have gotten rid of earlier, but BTC, ETH, and some LINK I will hold at least until 2025ish. So I am ready to embrace any pain that comes our way.
