Suzyn Waldman's Roger Clemens hysterical commentary has already been ridiculed to the highest extent possible (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fdtn0Z4o8cM), and not much to add there that isn't already known.
But Jesus, I'm listening to this Yankees / Orioles Broadcast, and this dud John Sterling might be an even bigger goober. Nevermind that he just called a foul ball "out of bounds" (not out of play), what gets me is that every time a player smokes one down the line or into the gap, he identifies it as a "BASE HIT!" without saying where the ball is. So you think the guy just hit a single, and then 45 seconds later he explains that the guy just jogged into second.
It's really just an awful production. Surely in a metro area that huge they have a responsibility to put people who actually know baseball? Those two combine the observation skills of Hellen Keller and the demeanor of "Sloth" from Goonies (both of whom I'm sure would be deeply offended to be compared to Waldman and Sterling). Throw the slobbering bjs they're constantly delivering to Jeter and Cano, and it's just a really painful experience (and I don't even hate the Yankees).
