Rays at plus money to win the WS

Before Game 1, the value wasn't there. Now that the Phillies won, as I expected, I think there is value on the Rays.

I don't have the lines yet, but I expect them to be enough to make the Rays a worthwhile play.

I'd give the Phillies about a 55% chance of winning the World Series, but the lines will be more like estimating 60-65%, IMO. That's the edge. The Phillies had to have Game 1 with Hamels pitching anyway.

The thing is Hamels won't lose his second start either, meaning that in reality, the Rays need to win four out of five games. From that persepctive, I still see no value on Tampa Bay.

That said, I will almost certainly hedge on the Rays after tonight's game. I'd love to see Phils up 2-0, but Rays would still be + money at 1-1 with the Phils now gaining home field advantage.

i think phils win in 5, as i said. but with the way they are hitting, i am not sure anymore

I still like the Rays to win the series but they have to win tonight. I don't think they can go to Philly down 0-2 with the next 3 games on the road. Rays lost the 1st game against the Red Sox at home and then went on to win the next 3 games.
