      May 31st [Tallahassee Regional] Troy-Alabama Over 10.5 [+100]
The teams met once in the regular season, an Alabama 11-2 win. Tide sends out Sullivan and his 3.56 ERA. Tide offense has scored five or better in 10 of their last 13.Troy counters with McCain, a 3.53 ERA and 13 HR allowed. Troy ranks #12 in runs scored, although they were scuffling a bit down the stretch. They had 52 HRs on the season, but Florida State's home park is more of a gap driven field. That could play well though with Troy ranked 3rd in D1 with 144 doubles. Shaky bullpen for Troy, so if the Tide can get to McCain early there is a chance to put up a crooked number. Tide bullpen has better pieces, but more so at the back end. Key to me is getting one of the starters out by the 5th inning.

          Wichita State +170
          C.Arkansas +240

Two dogs worth trying for me. Both teams have already played today's opponent. Wichita State dropped two to Kansas State, but was not embarrassed in either. C.Arkansas was more impressive, winning 2/3 from Mississippi State in today's venue - Dudy Noble Field. Both dogs here are throwing out their best pitcher. K-State is putting a Freshman on the mound. Miss State puts Graveman out. He's a stud, but has not been immune to getting hithard. Wichita State & K-State are pretty even, so their ace could give them the edge in this one. C.Arkansas should be confident because they did score some runs off Graveman in a 7-3 win in the finale of that series earlier this year.

'Bama left too many men on base, over didn't have a good shot. 5-2 Troy wins. At least Wichita State is off and running.

BTW ... the "Field to Win Starkville" is a play AGAINST Mississippi State winning. So if anyone besides State wins, bet cashes.

Well so much for the lead Wichita State. Sheesh.

I think Fullerton St. will win at home if their young pitching doesn't get spooked and I don't think they will.
I've bet against UCLA before and been burned because they grind out wins, but their offense stinks. I think San Diego or Cal Poly could win it, but thought the other futures were a bit better.

Wow. Great pitching edge for Wichita State. Not a good start to the day. 7 run 1st inning and the bases are still loaded. Fukk me.

Merciful Jesus Wichita State. Can we get a 3rd out? 3rd pitcher of the 1st inning. Comical and pathetic.

                              Eugene Regional: Rice -125
In a Regional where pitching should rule, Rice might have the best starting-relieving combination. Kubitza is expect to start. 2.03 ERA and a sub.200 BAA. The Dons throw out versatile Haden Hinkle. He has a sub 2.00 ERA, but only four starts this season with 18 appearances total. SF will need a solid start from Hinkle as their bullpen lacks the depth and shutdown closer that Rice has in Zach Lemond. Offenses are about a wash. Fielding about even. SF tested itself against the PAC-12 and beat some good teams like Oregon State, so they won't feel overmatched. Still, Rice held opponents to two runs or less in seven of their last nine. Kubitza has been the truth all season, holding a strong North Carolina offense to one run - this seems like a game where three could easily provide the winning margin.

                              *5pm ET first pitch

Really if Wichita State had held at 9, they might have a legit shot at getting in this. They are scoring, but now 12-6. Long way to go though, so Keep the F-ing Faith!

                                  Last one for today.

                                  Nashville Regional: E.Tennessee State +4.5 [+105]
Not a ton of write-up here. Vanderbilt is a great team with great pitching and solid offense, but ETSU puts out a workhorse. Kerry Doane 1.99 ERA, .232 BAA, 12 CG. If he gives them a quality start, I think ETSU can stay within four runs.

Damn Doane isn't pitching, some guy named Nesselt is on the mound and he gave up 5 in the 1st. He has settled in, but ETSU can't sniff a run at this point

Yeah sucks when the info you find isn't correct. ETSU hanging around though. Down 4 now. They gotta keep it on lockdown. Rice finally gets us on the board with the W. Big win because it was beginning to look like they were going to keep blowing chances to win. Eugene Regional should be a pitcher's delight.

Quite a few moderate dogs hit today. UCONN the biggest one. Had them on the radar, but passed. Definitely one to look at in this regional. Absolute got hot at the right time in the Big East tournament last week and carried over in a weaker Regional although I thought the Hokies would show better.

Well there goes any chance of that - I think they skipped Doane to give him extra rest, but every thing had indicated he was going to go tonight, but the guy pitched on three days rest twice in a row I think. Too bad you can't find out that shit earlier about them changing their plans.

If Mississippi State wins that Regional, that is going to be the shocker for me. I just really think that Regional is absolutely up for grabs. All four teams are fairly similar.

If Arkansas wins and Central Arkansas wins, the futures are at least in order after Game 1. Would be a massive boost if Oregon would lose, but I don't think that is going to happen tonight. That Regional is likely going to come down to Oregon v. Rice twice.

Debating a late play on the Fullerton State game - but I am trying to find some definitive starting pitching info there.

Yes Oregon losing would be outstanding, but I am just glad to pull that Rice game out. Guy lost the ball in the sun what a way to end it, but we will take it.

Post here if u decide to play the CSF game, I throw them on a open parlay to win the region at home

                                                          Fullerton Regional: Fullerton State-Columbia Over 8.5 [+100]
Titans at home and they send out their 3rd best pitcher in Graham Wiest. He is hittable, giving up 91 hits in 95 IP with a 3.48 ERA. He did not go 5 in his last start, giving up seven hits and four runs against UCSB. Columbia is not without some weapons. Alex Black is a do-everything hitter for the Lions and they sport two guys in Serena & Crucet who can terrorize on the bases with 20+ steals each. Columbia goes with lefty David Speer. He has a great array of pitches, but has not faced anything like he will see in Fullerton's lineup. The Titans are a great gap-hitting team and have five regulars hitting over .300. They will have traffic on the bases most likely. Columbia played a few tough teams out of conference and did score. They put up runs against a quality Miami pitching staff and they scored on defending National Champs Arizona in an early season series. They come in with a long layoff, but they had scored well in the Ivy League tournament with 27 runs. Going against the Titans #3, I would be surprised if they didn't score three or better at minimum amd if they bang home four - this better finish over. Speer will have to be sharp early with Fullerton looking to start quick and run away like most #1 seeds want to do.

Lets get it. Breakdowns and analysis are great, just the bounces aren't going our today. I am still confident we can hit a couple of those futures. I also jumped on UCLA not to win the regional, so hopefully that hit's also. SDST clinging to a 1-0 lead, would be bliss if they could knock off Oregon

Coastal surprised with three runs off OU's stud Jonathan Gray, but they were shut down the rest of the game after the early scores. Va.Tech had issues against UConn's Carson Cross who limited them to one run on six hits in 6.1 IP. Burke has shut down some of the best ACC offenses, so I think a pretty average Coastal squad is one he can limit. After blasting Virginia for ten runs to open the ACC tournament last weekend, the Hokies offense has been in a lull with just nine runs over their last four games. This team can hit, but Ben Smith is a solid starter. If he limits his walks (sometimes an issue) - then this looks like a game that could finish under this total with both battling to stay alive in the Regional.

                                                                      Canisius +185

They routinely were getting base runners on, but were unable to cash them in enough to pull off the upset. This is a team that can score runs with over 400 scored on the season and a team BA over .300. Pitcher likely is Godzak. Solid numbers with a 3.22 ERA, 66 Ks in 78.1 IP and a .231 BAA. Florida Atlantic was unable to get off the mat against Towson, falling 7-2. FAU will put Austin Gomber on the hill, their ace with a 2.97 ERA and a whopping 100Ks on the season. Gomber will be a tough test for Canisius, but I like their hitters who should continue to approach the play confidently after pressuring the Tar Heels yesterday. FAU is a streaky, streaky team. They came in hot, but went cold in Game 1.
