Massive three run 7th for Louisville. Can't ask for a better shot. 4-2 lead in the 7th. Nail that shit down Cards.

Insurance run. 5-2. No gimmes against Vandy's bats, but I'll take Louisville's back-end with Ege/Burdi and a three run lead any day to try and close a game out.

Corvallis Super Regional: Oregon State-Kansas State Over 9.5 [-105]
This will be billed as pitching vs. offense and let's not gloss over it, OSU's pitching is electric. Three starters with ERA's of 2.02 or LESS. They will be hard to hit, but this K-State squad won't be timid. They hit Jonathan Gray and Dillon Overton in their final series with OU, so they can hit anyone. A gaudy OBP of .408 has them ranked in the Top 10 in D1 and their BA of .324 is 2nd. This will be the best offense Oregon State has seen. Matt Boyd is listed as the likely started. A tough lefty with a BAA under .200. K-State's starter, lefty Joe Flattery, is not nearly as strong. A 3.87 ERA and .278 BAA. The lefty will give up hits and have to battle base runners. OSU is no slouch offensively as proven in Eugene when they laid 21 runs on Oregon in the final two games of a three game series. They aren't as explosive as K-State, but they bat .290 and churn out between 5-6 runs most games.

Not unless they post them for OU-LSU. I was going to take a shot on one of those for the over because while Overton & Eades are both great pitchers, both give up hits and Eades has been "off" over the last six weeks. I was thinking with the game total at 7.5 with the juice all on the under, that one of the TTs would offer a nice shot. Thinking one of them would be 3.5. Don't think it's going to be posted though with just 45 minutes till first pitch.

Rice about to blow a 3-2 lead in the 9th. Would prefer the Pack just win it 4-3 and not have this go into extras where this under gets blown.

Should have gone with OU +2.5, but did not feel like paying -175. Eades is struggling again.

Not much in the way of offense in Corvallis. Could be good for the K-State future, but not so much for tonight's over try.

Fullerton Super Regional: Fullerton State -1.5 [-115]
It's Eshelman vs. Vander Tuig. I like the Titans in this must-win spot. Vander Tuig is hittable, his BAA is .233 and he has given up 12 runs over his last three starts. That includes being roughed up in the Regionals for four runs when UCLA rallied for a 6-4 win over Cal Poly. Fullerton State will have a tad of confidence in rallying against UCLA all-World closer David Berg. They forced him to go three innings and throw 54 pitches, so his availability could be in question. Eshelman has been big all year for the Titans and he'll need to start fast and allow CSF to find its offense and get a lead.

Looks like a double bummer in this OSU-K State game. No over obviously and K-State had a huge chance in the 8th to get even or go ahead, but could not come through with the bases loaded. So looks like that future will be down 0-1.

Fullerton shooting themselves in the foot in the first inning. Two errors and two runs in for UCLA.

MEh. Fullerton is cooked. One shit inning did them in and they can't buy a big hit to get their offense rolling. Not really too pissed about losing the futures parlay so much as I am with losing the pick on them to win today.

                                                  2013 Record: 46-36 [+13.65]
                                                  Super Regionals: 3-3 [+0.65]

Disappointing finish, but profit for the day and that works any time as Fullerton leaves two more runners on. Both individual futures alive and well. Feel very good about Indiana as they flipped their starters and will have Slegers going on Sunday with a chance to advance. Sitz for FSU who also flipped their order and had Weaver run out on Saturday. K-State got the big win over Oregon State. Will be shocked though if they are not playing Game 3 on Monday.

Early games on Sunday at SC-UNC which should be Montgomery v. Johnson and IU-FSU. May look at the under in IU-FSU if the # is inflated because of today. Mid-afternoon games are likely where I will be making some plays vs. the early ones. Rice v. NC State and Louisville v. Vandy. Have to see pitching match-ups, but believe I may go in on both dogs tomorrow. Rice will probably be a smaller dog since Rodon commanded a bigger price for NC State and the Owls really had that game in the bag before they imploded in the 9th. Would expect Louisville to still be around a +200 even if Thompson goes ... although to see it a little under +200 would probably be more realistic.

Chapel Hill Super Regional: N.Carolina-S.Carolina Under 10.5 [-130]
It's always a bit risky to ride a UNC under with the bats they possess, but I think this is a good spot. Hobbs Johnson starts for the Heels and he has been their most consistent starter all year. He took a no-hitter deep into one of the Regional games against a talented Florida Atlantic lineup. If he can avoid running into trouble with walks, he has a good chance to limit the Gamecocks much better than Emmanuel did yesterday. SC counters with Jordan Montgomery who has pitched some outstanding games against some of the better offenses in the country like LSU and Vanderbilt. In those starts, he gave up three runs or less. He comes in off a dominant performance against Liberty in the Regionls where he whiffed 11 batters. Lefties are really the only chance you have to keep the Heels in-check offenseively. Belcher wasn't very effective against UNC in Game 1 and his defense let him down. Both bullpens were excellent in relief of the two starters in Game 1 who struggled. Combined, the pens only gave up two of the eleven runs.

                                                        Raleigh Super Regional: Rice +150
N.C. State turns to freshman Logan Jernigan as the Owls go with Jordan Stephens. It's an interesting move by NC State, but they have the luxury of the one game lead. Jernigan spent most of the season as a mid-week starter where he had a tiny ERA of 1.07. His last action came in the ACC tournament where he went 4.1 IP against Miami, giving up just one run. The plan for the Wolfpack today has to be get 4-6 innings from Jernigan and then turn it over to the pen. They also have Ogburn and Stone, usual weekend starters who would be available for long relief - so they have flexibility. Stephens has been as good as anyone in the Rice rotation. He flattened Oregon with a two hit shutout in the Eugene Regional. His ERA of 2.48 was slightly higher than Kubitza's, but he is a strikeout pitcher with 95 on the season and a .213 BAA. Rice had their shot to be up 1-0 yesterday, but failed opportunities to add to their lead sunk them in the end when Zach Lemond could not hold the lead late. This Rice club is resilient though. They were dominated by Oregon in the first "Championship" game of that regional only to come right back and pound the Ducks for the Regional title. Big thing today is for Rice to get the clutch hits with RISP and to have Stephens pitch well obviously. I think they rate a good shot.

Johnson can't find the strike zone. Heels bullpen is gonna need to be large to give this any chance. Johnson will be out soon the way he is pitching.

Nashville Super Regional: Louisville Team Total Over 3.5 [-115]
Vanderbilt is in a must-win and puts out their 1b in Tyler Beede. Beede has been stellar for most of the season with a 2.20 ERA and a BAA of .177. Beede though has had some rough outings down the stretch, including giving up four runs in just four innings pitched against Illinois in the Regionals. Beede was solid against Texas A&M in the SEC tournament, but was pounded by Alabama for six runs in 3.2 IP in the regular season finale. Since flopping in the Big East tournament, the Cardinals offense has been back to its solid ways of run production with 31 runs in four NCAA games. They were churning out five runs or better in most games from April through the present, so even against Beede - I think Louisville is going to score some runs. They might not win, but I think they will score.

Definitely worth considering SC tomorrow at plus money against UNC. Have to research more, but it'll be another lefty - just not as crafty as Montgomery going against Benton Moss, the most hittable of the Heels hitters. Gonna be a great game I think, kind of like the FAU-UNC game last week with everything on the line.
