Two shutouts in a row for the Cards and I like that to change today. That offense is too good, especially against lefties, to continue. I have the Cards set at -110 on the road, so not a ton of value but I like them to get the job done and I am rolling with the Cardinals for 1x. Good luck.

    Play #2

    White Sox -1RL (-123) 1x (Locked)

Although Millwood has impressed of late and has solid numbers, they just do not compare with Sale. Considering Seattle's struggles against lefties and CWS's recent offensive surge, I will roll with White Sox on the -1RL for 1x.

    Play #3

    Twins/Indians under (9)(-115) 1x (Locked)

Masterson's H/A splits are striking and he pitches much better at home. Diamond has solid numbers and Cleveland does not hit lefties as well as righties. I have this game set at 7.9 and it's going to take a final score of 10 to beat us. I don't think it gets there and I am rolling with the under for 1x. Good luck.
    Play #4

    Orioles ML (+143) 1x (Locked)

I love Moore, but Arrieta is the better pitcher this season from a statistical standpoint (Moore is the better long term guy with much better "stuff"). However, this is too much value to pass up considering that Balty is the second best hitting team against lefties and they are familiar with Moore having already faced him this season. I have the Orioles set at +126 and I am rolling with Baltimore for 1x. Good luck.

Been debating this one all day and decided to pull the trigger. I love Gio, but he just faced this Braves lineup and I think they should have a better handle on him while Hanson is in a great bounce back spot. The Braves desperately need this game and the Nats are bit over priced. I have the Braves set at +120 and I am rolling with Atlanta for 1x. Good luck.

            Diamondbacks -1RL (+105) 1x (Locked)

I like Cahill in this spot to break out of a mini-slump in terms of wins and losses. The Dbacks need more offensive consistency and are familiar with Stults having faced him before and his numbers are dwarfed by Cahill. I am rolling with Arizona on the -1RL for 1x. Good luck.

Orioles are a frustrating team whenever we're on them. Strand runners and allow 4 runs on two hits (no HR's) ...

Outside of his last start, he's been great at home. Other than that, he has lost some velocity. They tried to explain it away by an adjustment to his two and four seam fastball, but it's obviously more than that. Nevertheless, it's still early so let's see if he can keep it together. GL

Another unearned run as well with the error on Jones' throw from center.

EDIT: Another unearned run on Wieters throw....unreal. The stats say they are a better fielding team than this, but I've bet on them twice in the last week and have suffered through 4 unearned runs so far.

Yeah, been watching the game (have the MLB package, Direct TV). The 1st two runs were a direct result of a wild pitch and then a throwiing error from the fly out that allowed the 2nd run instead of just one. It went downhill from there ...

question for whomever wants to discuss todays card: the Oakland/Texas total is at 7.5 at the moment and to me that seems a little low. Aside from the fact that the As have a very mediocre offense, I cant workout why this total isnt closer to 8 or even 8.5.

The Coliseum is overrated as a pitchers park (43-30 record in O/U last year) and Scott Feldman hasnt lasted 5 innings in any of his 4 starts this year. J Parker's advanced stats suggest hes not as good as his sub-3 ERA suggests, and we already know what the Rangers offense is capable of.

edit: really like that rockies play too LTA, friedrich being one of the most 'unlucky' pitchers in baseball thus far. He probably has the most lopsided home/away splits in baseball so far as well, 10.64 ERA at Coors, 2.50 ERA away from home. Good thing this game is at Arizona.

I don't like that dodgers play LTA. Dodgers have really struggled recently, they really haven't played great on the road all season, Kershaw is much better at home than away traditionally and they're favored against a decent team and a decent pitcher

I also think it's risky fading the Angels with how hot they are, even though I agree Vargas >>>>> Santana

Good to know you will not be on the dodgers. While Worley has solid numbers, he is coming off a two to three week stint on the DL which is a solid fade spot for pitchers. Philly ranks toward the bottom half against lefties in OPS, wRC, wRC+, BABIP, wRA, etc. and Kershaw is in a great bounce back spot after losing to the brewers at home. Getting Kershaw at -118 in this situation is a great price. I suspect this will close around -128 making this a great play win or lose if it does close in that range. GL

It will be cold but the wind will be blowing out relatively hard. Parker has pitched well but the rangers are a more formidable opponent despite their unfamiliarity with him. I like this play because I think oakland's offense is a bit undervalued right now with Cespedes back and I expect them to score more runs than earlier in the season. I have this game set at 8.7 and I am rolling with the over for 1x. Good luck.
