The only problem I have with thinking of him out of the pen is what will his recovery time be between outings? If he needs a day off or more between 20-30 pitch outings, not sure if that's the way to go. But like presely said, Duh-sty's in charge so I'm sure he could figure out a way to make it work

Every year they hpye him like he's some Nolan Ryan type pitcher and yet he has never won 15 games in one single season.

That's probably how he should be used...but really...Dusty Baker is the manager. It just wouldn't be his team unless the pitcher's pitch count is around 150 at the end of the game.

I agree he should be a middle relief. Because he always throws his arm out durning the season. He is a good 9 hole hitter. He has decent power for a batter. But if hes on the DL, that dont matter none.

He should be moved to the pen so he can play a full season.

as we all know this guy is always a question mark year in and year out.

i'm thinking dusty could use him more as a relief pitcher this year due to his arm problems. just due to the fact that he can only throw about 60 pitches without pain.
