looks like an all around bloodbath today for a lot of people. padres are saving people, although i noticed some are in on the d-backs (LB)... can't figure out what edge they have, other than he must've looked at the lines and classed them as a +EV bet.

these days happen. almost every game on the card scares me tomorrow too though might just be some scars from seeing how today unfolded. lost a nickel overall (assuming pads hold on to this 9-3 lead)

People like Kennedy today, it is a fairly decent dog play. That game has some debatable value on either side. Laying off it though.

What killed me was Atlanta blowing a 9 run lead, and Cincy doing the same. If it wasn't for the reds coming back and winning the game, it would of been a bloody mess yesterday. Still a bad day overall.

In my old thread somewhere there is an explanation of the -1 runline by jerseyshop101, but here is a runline calculator that is always floating around.

-1 runline is a combination of two bets to make one where if the game lands on 1 run win it is a push. 2+ run victory is a win. Less risk than -1.5, but a bit more expensive. Many think it is a sucker's bet, but they usually can't say why :-)

i think its time to start doing the opposite of everything we've been doing all year or to just not bet baseball atm.

i can't figure it out... now might be a good time to do it like LB does it and just follow the lines. i had a look last night and almost all the plays the lines said to play won - i was even on the Ms, As and Nats very, very small.

what a bloodbath. i went big on the sox/rays over... 1 hit in 2 innings each... lets hope they pick it up!
