iam a very old 37,and i can remember jr coming on the 89 upperdeck card and him being their number one card.i want the teens and 20 somethings to remeber the fun loving kid who came into baseball to make a name for himself, and to get out of his dads shadows.he is one of the best outfielders to ever play the game.if he hadnt dove for the baseball and risked injury he would have had the homerun record.he never took steroids and played the game clean and that should be remember, and not falling asleep in the locker room.

Why didn't he finish the year? I'm sure the M's would have brought in a bed for his little cat naps!

poor dude never seemed to be the most motivated players, lacked some of the heart a lot of other superstars had.

Growing up watching this guy play was amazing. Favorite player of all-time. With the last 6+ years being a sad slide down and the countless career injuries putting up stats like his unreal.

He was one of the best and he would have been better without all of them injuries that he had.
