Tracking the public to bet

What are your guys thoughts on this.

I have been tracking what percentage of the public pick who and am trying to pick up on a trend, but it has really been 50/50. Tried this with NHL (Teams at 70%-74% were 23-12 in the time that I tracked it, 50%-54% were 14-6-1, Teams 55%-59% were only 12-19), the NBA and College Basketball and those were mainly 50/50.

Now with MLB I have been tracking this since June 30th and this is what I have found: Underdogs won 9-6 and 9-4-1 the first two days, Favorites won 6-3 and 10-5 the next two, Underdogs won 8-7 and 8-7 the next two days, with the Favorites winning the last two days 8-3 and 9-6. Favorites will take it tonight too.

MLB teams with 70%-74% over the public on them are 4-3 since June 30th (last Tuesday), 50-54% are 14-17, 55-59% teams are 18-13, 60-64% teams are 13-13, 65-69% teams are 8-6. Favorites are 57-52 not counting tonight.

Has anyone tried anything like this and found any success in betting with or against the public when the number gets to a certain percentage?

if it is over 85% on one side ml in baseball try fading the public except nats games

That's the problem. It never/rarely (not in the last week) gets above 75% on Covers (which I am using).

Just look for reverse line moves with a consensus of 60% +. Trying to use these percentages any other way is fruitless.

ive been tracking the 3-4 highest percentage predicted winners according to accuscore and for the season its down almost -40 units. it started really bad, which i can see cause it had no stats to go off of and quickly was down like -20 units, but then got on a nice run and made it to a season high +10 units and then the wheels came off again and its been dropping since, though it does goes on 3-4 day mini runs of being up 1-3 units but then a sexy -7 day comes along and its shot to shit.

it mainly gets busted cause of the high juice plays it suggests like that yankees -320 last week lol, but overall its some good fade material if your on the edge with a play.
