I have taken two of the worst O/U beats in back to back nights in the Indians/Dodger series. 2-2 going into the 8th inning. A 95% chance that those games end on the Under, and both of them go Over. Just ridiculous nonsense.

One bad beat is bad enough, but two on the same teams, on back to back nights is really tough. I know it does not help now, but these things will even out over time. BTW it's one reason I do not play unders.

Thanks MB I hope so, but truth be told, I am not a believer in handicapping streaks. I subscribe to more of "grinding it out" and trying to be plus at the end of the season.

Sorry to hear that. When these were posted at 8:02 Central Time, these were the prevailing lines at virtually ALL the books at SBR. Anyone can go back and check on SBR. Lines move, sometimes for us, sometimes against us.

Then don't play it, simple as that...do you not understand the concept of the reliever plays? If you do not, I suggest you go to page 1, post 1 and read up on the concept of the reliever plays. One of the only variables the SP's contribute to these plays are their average pitch counts.

See DU46 explanation. Here are some facts on the Relievers:

Yesterday the bullpen pitched 56 and 51 pitches and the last 3 days they pitched 212 and 205 pitches
The bullpen ERAs are 5.00 and 5.91
The closers are below average
The starters average only 87 and 88 pitches per game. (on the low side)

Last year we tried live betting after 5 innings and had some luck, but personally I do not want to be tied to my computer every night waiting for the games to complete the first 5. Certainly in theory it makes sense, and I think some people here tried it, but I am not sure of their results.

The both team's relievers certainly pitched a lot of pitches yesterday and their last 3 days.......however, Sale averages 107.8 pitches per game (the bullpen may not see more than 1.5 innings) and the bullpen ERA's are 3.46 and 3.89 which when combined are on the low side of my cutoff.

U can bet pre game 2nd halves before the game starts...twins game was 3.5 -120 today

Raider Guy, if you are so concerned w/DD plays and actual lines get out of bed earlier, you just might catch one or two. DD is a class act and has helped me earn a few bucks...great thread and one would be wise to utilize when capping MLB.
