                                FYI:

Cubs/SD over would have qualified, but Arrieta averages over 100 pitches per game (which affects when the relievers will enter the game) and that's why they are not a play.

Not to mention the Cubs are in the funk of funks. Talk about a World Series hangover.

DD any thoughts on DBAGS/Marlins over 8?

Pretty good value given the marathon game dbags played yesterday with the rain. Deep into their pen. Not so much the same for Marlins but bats seem confident as they destroyed Philly starters and relief staff. If greinke gives up a few early and in turn exits relatively early I love this over

Thanks for all you do and BOL

From a reliever standpoint, it just missed being a play. Other factors have the wind blowing in at 9 mph but humidity high (good for overs). Greinke averages 99.9 pitches per game so if that holds true the relievers will be limited. If I played it, I would play the over. Good luck whatever you decide.

Just a quick monthly recap on the reliever plays:

                                                  April: 27-23, 54.0%
                                                  May: 36-26, 58.1%
                                                  Total: 63-49, 56.3%

For a point of reference, last May was 88-65, 57.5% and June was 98-71, 58.0%....this May was slightly better than last May from a winning % perspective, let's hope this June is slightly better than last June.

the reason i asked is i forecast games in a similar manner and say in college football i use wind for totals too- i lookup the stafium location wind direction strength and how low the stands are and if all is righ either a totals game or sides one way 1 half other way other half.

U mentioned winds in mlb and that rung a bell as few here check winds for baseball
