with chris young on the mound at home and tanaka throwing for the yankees, this surely looks to be the low scoring type of 2-1 or 3-1 type game. young's numbers and ability to somehow throw better at safeco field is gonna keep the mariners close in this ballgame. while we know the yankee's ability to swing and drive in runs has been less than stellar, tanaka comparable yet better than yu darvish will keep on his pace with his threatening slider and splitter ball. some had said that iwakuma would give advice to mariner's batters on how to face tanaka, keep in mind that this is the 1st time all season they have faced him - a complete pitcher from a wholenother league...
