    No because you had the game at angels -115. I have no idea what the total should be without the wind tunnel but 8 sounds about right. I could be under or overestimating estimating the effects, it's only 6 mph but you saw what 5 mph did with the homeruns last night. But I think I can remember 1 game this year in texas with a total under 8 and i'm sure it was CJ vs another ace.

    how are you coming to angels -115?

    Texas all the way! The Blue Jays scored 7 runs the other day against Weaver, I don't see how in the world the Rangers won't score tonight at home against Weaver. Keep in mind, the Angels are the most overrated team in MLB.

    Here's something to chew on. Weaver imploded againt Toronto on extra days rest. After the game he admitted that it hurt him. Could less rest mess him up? He could be a creature of habit. However, Lewis is far more likely to blow up, regardless.

    I have the Angels. I hate betting on teams that are hot and pitchers that are overrated. But I think Colby Lewis is actually worse than his already bad numbers suggest. And I think the books give too much linear credit to bad pitchers. IOW if an offense is 3.9 rpg and a pitching line for a game is 5.4 I think the number is actually like 5 as opposed to the mean of the two numbers.

    Good point, but the Rangers are one of those public favorite teams (Yankees, Red Sox, Rangers, Phillies) that Vegas loves to bank on.

    The question is not "why would Vegas set Weaver at + money," but rather "why would vegas set Texas as a measly -115 at home against a team they generally own."

    86% of the public on Texas so I think Vegas has done their job.
