Nice! I was born in Detroit, still live in Michigan. Hoping the Tigers can pull it off, but I'm worried about the lack of consistency from the hitting, and Miggy's injury woes. I do think JV will turn it on for the play-offs though, and I don't think any team has a better rotation going into the play-offs.

I'm not expecting much. Bullpen is terrible. Miggy's gimping around on one leg.

Doesn't surprise me because Boston has a great offense, which translates to more baserunners.

The stat just goes to show how bad the Twins are with RISP, given the number of total runs they've scored vs. the number of total baserunners.

I suppose I had this night coming. First losing night in a long time. That Dodger effort just pisses me off, though. No fixes in baseball, but I'd love to see Mattingly look straight into the camera and say they gave even an average effort tonight after scoring that second run in the fourth.

i played tampons, dont care how much price has struggled vs tex, i still rather have him than a rookie and a idiot manager.. hopefully tb can get few across early then the pressure will really mount..

The way this season has played out, line movement towards Texas should be a good thing for us.

Either way, I'm on Tampa. "Playoff" baseball brings out squares... Perez's peripheral stats are much worse than his 3.5 ERA, Texas has won 7 in a row, Price has gotten rocked historically vs. Texas (dating back to starts in 2009), Rays 'choked', bovada -- the public site -- is taking more action on Texas. None of these things should matter much; Rays have the better pitcher, both teams are loaded with righties, so i expect some runs at some point early on. Add in the fact that Nash's entire thread is all backing the rangers and i like the rays
