Doesn't surprise me because Boston has a great offense, which translates to more baserunners.

The stat just goes to show how bad the Twins are with RISP, given the number of total runs they've scored vs. the number of total baserunners.

The way this season has played out, line movement towards Texas should be a good thing for us.

Either way, I'm on Tampa. "Playoff" baseball brings out squares... Perez's peripheral stats are much worse than his 3.5 ERA, Texas has won 7 in a row, Price has gotten rocked historically vs. Texas (dating back to starts in 2009), Rays 'choked', bovada -- the public site -- is taking more action on Texas. None of these things should matter much; Rays have the better pitcher, both teams are loaded with righties, so i expect some runs at some point early on. Add in the fact that Nash's entire thread is all backing the rangers and i like the rays
