Don't worry about bothering me on weekends late, either.... Last night I red'd calls at 11:45 pm, 1:27 am, and 3:15 am, all needed help on DWI situations that arose during the night last night.....
one is complete bullshit (an old lady -- good friend and client's girlfriend's mom) who was driving home in a new car that her hubby who just bought it that day had told her the lights were set on "automatic" mode, so she didn't need to mess with them; after dinner, she pulls out of a well lit parking lot and immediately gets pulled over on suspicion of dwi for not having head lights on. Fails field sobriety tests according to the lady cop arresting her, and is just getting out now....
the other two were traditional friends of clients who just didn't think the cab fare was worth it... bad choice, as that cab fare would've been 20x - 30x cheaper than the checks they're going to be writing to me tomorrow.....
