Real Madrid has only lost three of their previous 25 Champions League matches at the Bernabeu. One of those defeats came in the group stage to Man City, a 2-1 setback.
Pep Guardiola's side is on an 11-match unbeaten run in all competitions, and they are, at least for the most part, healthy.
The same cannot be said for Real Madrid, who will be without Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, Eder Militao, Dani Ceballos and Alvaro Carreras. Even for a team as deep as Real Madrid, that's too many missing influential players to overcome a dangerous, highly motivated Man City side.

🚑 Will Kylian Mbappe play against Man City?
It's been confirmed that he won't play in Wednesday's first leg. He's missed the last three matches with a knee injury. There's no timetable for his return, but he didn't train with the team on Monday.
He joins a long list of Real Madrid players on the treatment table, with Bellingham missing action with a hamstring injury since mid-February. Other absentees include Rodrygo, Militao, Ceballos and Carreras, and David Alaba.
Eduardo Camavinga is expected to feature.

Man City is meeting Real Madrid at an opportune moment, with the hosts decimated by injuries to some influential players.
That, combined with the Cityzens' excellent form, has me confident in Guardiola's side securing the road victory. Four of Real Madrid's previous matches in all competitions had at least three goals, and seven of the last 10 City matches hit the Over.
And then there's Haaland to score, my most profitable player prop of the season by a large distance. He's arguably the most consistent scorer in world football, and he'll be hellbent on showing his prowess on the biggest stage.
