Pep Guardiola's side endured their worst effort of the season in the Champions League midweek, but I expect Man City and Erling Haaland to dominate as part of my Premier League predictions and picks for Matchweek 23.
I wouldn't want to be Wolves this weekend, who travel to the Etihad to face a Man City team that will be rather salty after losing to Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt. An angry Man City side is a dangerous one. I'm also featuring two other winner picks, highlighting Liverpool and Brentford.

I can't see City performing anywhere near as poorly as it did in its midweek debacle in Norway. In fact, I expect to see a team focused on the task at hand, with a little added spice for good measure.
City is winless in four Premier League matches, but is unbeaten in nine at Etihad Stadium. They face bottom-feeders Wolves, who haven't won in 11 away matches, scoring just fiver goals along the way. This is the picture-perfect definition of a bounce-back spot.

Wolves vs. Man City pick: Haaland to bag at least two goals (+195) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Many are saying Haaland has played too much football. Well, of course, he has. Have you seen their ridiculously demanding schedule?
That won't stop him from terrorizing the league's third-worst defense. He scored two goals against Wolves in the first meeting and has only had one in the previous five. That last tidbit should scare Wolves, with Haaland ready to take out his frustrations.
Liverpool vs. Bournemouth pick: The Reds to pick up a road victory (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Liverpool is unbeaten in 13 matches in all competitions. Sure, six of those matches ended in draws, but it's an impressive streak nonetheless. I'm also taking a ton of confidence from their dominant 3-0 Champions League win on the road midweek against a strong Marseille side.
Plus, Mo Salah is back from the African Cup of Nations, which should galvanize the collective, who are in desperate need of his goal-scoring touch.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, has won just one of its previous six at home.
Nottingham Forest vs. Brentford pick: Bees to win at home (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Brentford boasts the fourth-best home record in the top flight and is unbeaten in seven at Gtech Stadium, winning five. Their impressive streak includes wins over Newcastle and Liverpool.
Nottingham Forest has lost three of its previous four away games in the Premier League, with its lone victory coming against West Ham, the league's second-worst home team.
