⚽ Germany vs. Paraguay Prediction: Best World Cup Picks at Kalshi (June 29)
Last Updated: June 29, 2026 7:59 AM EDT • 3 minute read X Social Google News Link
My Germany vs. Paraguay prediction highlights why the Group E-winning Germans should have no trouble with the third-place team from Group D. Germany may have lost its last game of the group stage, but Paraguay has been lifeless offensively, and my best World Cup predictions expect this trend to continue.
The market projects that Germany has an 85% win probability for today's 4:30 p.m. ET match at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The game will air on FOX and Telemundo and stream on FOX One.

After demolishing Curacao, Germany struggled with the Ivory Coast, then lost to Ecuador. However, this is still a game they should dominate, as Paraguay doesn't offer much offensively. Paraguay finished with just 1.10 expected goals in the group stage.
And while Paraguay's defense was mostly good, this is a team that allowed four goals to the United States. Germany scored 10 goals in the group stage, and at least twice in both games that truly mattered to overall placement. Germany's offense will score multiple times, as Paraguay struggles to find a player who can help keep pace.
Score prediction: Germany 2, Paraguay 0
💵 My best pick: No - Paraguay 3+ corners (46 cents)
Through three World Cup matches, Paraguay has just two corners. The Paraguayans didn't earn a single one against Turkey, and they recorded just one in each of their other two games.
With the price for No set at 46 cents, it seems traders are overreacting to Germany allowing three corners in two of their final three group matches. But Germany allowed just seven total in the group stage, making this an easy three-unit play.
🦶 Who will score in Germany vs. Paraguay?
Follow all of our expert soccer analysis for World Cup 2026.
Kai Havertz, F, Germany (40%)
Havertz scored twice against Curacao, but he's gone quiet since. He recorded just one shot in Germany's loss to Ecuador, and even against the Ivory Coast, he only managed one shot on goal.
Still, Havertz has scored four goals in six matches with Germany this year, and he has 10 goals in 19 appearances over the last two. While Paraguay hasn't allowed a goal since its opening match against the United States, Turkiye finished with 2.27 expected goals, and Australia put five shots on target. This all bodes well for one of Germany's leading attackers.
Best Germany vs. Paraguay goal-scorer pick: Kai Havertz (40%)

🥅 Will both teams score in Germany vs. Paraguay?
No, both teams won't score in this match. Germany has allowed at least one goal in every World Cup game, but Paraguay hasn't shown much offensively at this tournament. The goal against the United States came when the match was well in hand for the US, and the goal against Turkey came two minutes into a contest that Paraguay finished with just 0.32 expected goals.
Both teams to score (BTTS) pick: No (55 cents)
