Could sports betting being live in New York affect the futures numbers for the NHL's Vezina Trophy? Numerous sportsbooks have already shortened the odds of Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin.

Calgary Flames netminder Jacob Markstrom owns the eighth-shortest odds to win the award though he hasn't had a shutout since November, whereas Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Jack Campbell hasn't missed a beat since the season began.

Shesterkin money could change the numbers in this market now that sports betting is available in New York. I want Campbell in my portfolio for this award, but I think you will be able to get a slightly better number on him in the near future.

He is one of the contenders for the award. However, I won't be rushing to place a bet given his price and lack of volume. The last three games for Shesterkin have seen him record a 2.33 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage.

Andrei Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay Lightning

As a result of his excellence throughout his career, I believe he is held to a different standard. With so many other goalies in contention for the award, I am not interested in Vasilevskiy at a short price. In his last seven games, he has a 2.42 GAA and a .913 SV%.

Recommendation: Fade

Juuse Saros, Nashville Predators

Saros has been on fire in the last 30 days, posting a 1.89 GAA and .945 SV% in nine games. The numbers for Saros vary across sportsbooks. At Barstool, he is as low as +1200, but at FanDuel, he is as high as +3400. Here's your chance to catch FanDuel napping. At +3400, Saros is a sure-fire buy.

Markstrom, Calgary Flames

Since starting the year with multiple shutouts, Markstrom has lost a lot of momentum. In his last four games, he has a 3.77 GAA and a .880 SV%. I would stay away from him until his performance improves, since he is currently sliding down the odds board.

Recommendation: Fade

Best Price: +1700 FanDuel

Tristan Jarry, Pittsburgh Penguins

Similarly to Saros, FanDuel is asleep at the wheel with Jarry's odds in the Vezina futures. Jarry is priced at +1150 on Barstool to win this award. His 1.94 GAA leads all goalies in the NHL. He is also third in the league with a .932 SV%. In his case, he is live for this award and at a price of +2600, he is a strong buy candidate.

Thatcher Demko, Vancouver Canucks

At this moment, he is one of the hottest goalies in the NHL. He has a 1.77 GAA and .943 SV% over his last five games. Price-wise, he's right, but he has some catching up to do in this market.
