I'd be surprised if anyone can replicate Connor McDavid's current run. His extended scorching streak has onlookers wondering if he'll ever slow down. Mikko Rantanen, meanwhile, has been prolific over the last two weeks. My NHL best bets also feature Brad Marchand and Leon Draisaitl, the latter of whom can't stop scoring against the Calgary Flames.

Mikko Rantanen Over 1.5 points (+132) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rantanen has nine points in the previous five games, a run that includes four two-point outings. All of those points were assists, but that won't matter to Rantanen or those who've tailed his multi-point contests. 

The Chicago Blackhawks, meanwhile, have lost six in a row, three of which they conceded at least four goals.

Connor McDavid Over 1.5 points (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

McDavid's recent outrageous run, in which he has 31 points in 11 contests, has propelled him to the top of the points leaderboard. He has 67 points in 38 games and 21 multi-point contests. 

Speaking of which, the Oilers captain notched at least two points in nine of the previous 11 games, including a five-point outburst before the Christmas break against the Flames, tonight's opponent. 

Brad Marchand Over 0.5 assists (+120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Marchand is on a bit of an assists run, notching at least one in five of the previous six games, including the last four. He secured at least one apple in two games against Carolina and another versus Los Angeles, a pair of top-tier defensive opponents. 

He has three assists in the last four meetings with Tampa Bay. Most of the best sports betting sites offer these odds at +120, where a $10 bet would profit $12. 

Leon Draisaitl anytime goal (+125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Draisaitl has been prolific against the Oilers' Alberta rivals recently, netting seven goals in the previous four games. He scored in four straight against Calgary and five of the last six. 

The 30-year-old erupted at home against the Flames before the Christmas break, scoring a hat trick. Those were his first goals in a nine-game stretch, which leads me to believe it was the start of a forthcoming outburst.
