The NHL's nine-game Tuesday slate includes a handful of potential playoff previews. Read on for our top NHL parlay picks for Tuesday.
The NHL has a few fewer games than normal on Tuesday night with nine on the docket, but four have high stakes in the playoff race. For Tuesday's top NHL parlay picks, I'm looking at a pair of home teams taking down their rivals and a high-scoring game in Florida.
Here are my top parlay picks for Tuesday's NHL matchups (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5 star scale).

NHL Parlay Predictions
Bruins (-130)
The Boston Bruins have been the best team in the league at 5-on-5 this season. They lead the league in expected goals for percentage at 5-on-5 play overall (56.7%), in the last 25 games (57.10%), and in the last 10 games (63.84%). The Toronto Maple Leafs are right there with them, but Boston has home-ice advantage tonight.
Boston is 20-10-2 at home this season while Toronto is just 17-12-3 on the road. This has been even more evident recently with the Bruins winning their last four at home and the Maple Leafs losing their last three on the road. Toronto's losses came against some teams below the Leafs in the standings, including Montreal, Nashville, and Buffalo.
Jeremy Swayman has established himself in the crease for Boston and is getting the start tonight. He's 11-1-1 with a .938 save percentage in his last 13 starts while allowing only 23 goals in that span. On the other side of things, Toronto has been a mess between the pipes with Jack Campbell injured. Petr Mrazek and Erik Källgren have been average at best.
This old rivalry will go to the home squad, just as it has in four of the past five meetings. In fact, the Bruins have won nine of the last 12 meetings in Boston.

Lightning (-140)
We're going from one great game to another. The Tampa Bay Lightning host the Carolina Hurricanes, who are fresh off a 6-1 win in Washington last night. However, Carolina is just 5-4-2 on no days rest this season, including 3-3-1 after a win. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay is 17-12-2 on one day rest, including 12-7-1 after a victory.
Carolina has taken the first two meetings this season, but both games were decided by just one goal. The Lightning have rebounded nicely from three straight losses to playoff teams with 2-1 and 4-1 road victories over the weekend. Now, with Andrei Vasilevskiy against Carolina backup Antti Raanta, Tampa Bay has the upper hand at home.
The Lightning are more rested, have home-ice advantage, as well as the better goalie. Grab them at -140 before the line moves any higher.
Canadiens-Panthers Over 6.5 (-110)
This line only being 6.5 at -110 confuses me. These two teams met on Thursday in Montreal with Florida winning 4-3. The Panthers are now at home where they average 4.63 goals per game (opposed to 4.02 overall) while the Canadiens are still at their average of 2.5 goals per contest.
This is also the home debut for Claude Giroux and the rest of the trade deadline acquisitions. A narrative isn't always something to bet on, but the numbers back it up. The Over is 36-27 in Montreal games and 38-23 in Florida games this season. On top of that, both of the matchups this season have had seven goals, with Florida beating Montreal 5-2 at home back on Jan. 1.
The Panthers have the ability to put up five goals themselves and they have enough defensive issues to allow a few to the Canadiens, who have seen a surge under new head coach Martin St. Louis. The Over 6.5 is the play here.
Combined Odds: Bruins (-130) + Lightning (-140) + Canadiens-Panthers Over 6.5 (-110) = +479
