⬆️ Brandon Hagel player prop: Over 3.5 shots (+125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Matt Hagel has been a shooting machine of late, attempting at least seven shots in eight straight games and scoring 10 goals during that span.
Much of that damage was done while playing with Lightning superstar Nikita Kucherov, whose status for tonight is uncertain. However, Hagel still enjoyed plenty of opportunities Saturday without his injured linemate, recording five shots and nine attempts during a shutout loss to the New York Islanders.
FanDuel is among the best NHL betting sites offering +125 odds on Hagel going Over 3.5 shots. Those odds suggest a 44.44% probability to win $12.50 on a $10 bet.
Our Gary Pearson is also featuring Hagel as part of his NHL player props today.
⬆️ John Tavares player prop: Over 2.5 shots (-160) ⭐⭐⭐
John Tavares has just one goal in his last seven games, but he still leads the Maple Leafs with 13 on the season and ranks second in points.
His recent scoring struggles haven’t been due to a lack of opportunity. Tavares’ average of 0.62 expected goals in all situations over Toronto’s last five games is nearly double that of any teammate. He had also attempted at least six shots in four straight games before Saturday’s 2-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens.
With FanDuel’s -160 odds implying a 61.54% probability, Tavares going Over 2.5 shots makes for a strong leg in a same-game parlay. If you bet this prop individually, a winning $10 wager would return $6.25 profit.
🥅 Best Lightning vs. Maple Leafs anytime goal scorer prediction
🔥 Nick Paul anytime goal scorer (+275) ⭐⭐
Although Paul has found the net just twice in nine games since returning from an upper-body surgery, he’s showing signs of rounding back into form.
He's produced at least 0.5 expected goals in each of his last three games — including 0.9 Saturday versus the Islanders — and Paul has recorded three-plus shots in three of his last four outings. The Mississauga, Ont. native also has a history of elevating his game against Paul's hometown team, scoring five goals in his last five meetings with Toronto.
The +275 odds at DraftKings and BetMGM are the top offerings available at the best sports betting sites, notably better than +250 at FanDuel. The +275 price implies a 26.67% chance Paul lights the lamp again versus the Leafs tonight, and it could return $27.50 on a $10 wager.
Our Liam Fox targets a player from the opposing bench to light the lamp as part of his NHL anytime goal scorer predictions today.
