Tuesday features a busy nine-game docket as I headline four picks in my NHL player props today, with Cole Caufield, Connor McDavid, Jack Eichel, and Sebastian Aho under the spotlight.

I've decided to go with three plus-money plays, hoping the favorable matchups on paper translate into on-ice production. The only minus-money pick features Aho, who has been accumulating apples faster than the most proficient fruit picker.

💰 Best NHL player prop bet today

Cole Caufield anytime goal (+135) vs. Bruins

Caufield is a cold-blooded Bruins beater, having scored nine goals in the previous six games against them. That includes a hat trick the last time the teams met in Boston at the end of January.

Not only does Caufield feast on the Bruins, but he enters on a two-game goal streak. The sniper was excellent last game in particular, finishing with the Habs' third-most expected goals while firing four shots on target.

He should also be able to take advantage of a Bruins team that went the distance in New Jersey on Monday, losing in overtime.

🔥 More NHL player prop picks

Sebastian Aho Over 0.5 assists (-110) at Blue Jackets

Aho has been superb since the end of January, scoring 16 points in the previous 13 games. He has seven assists in the previous six contests and spearheads a line that has had at least an expected goals percentage of 77 in two of the last three.

The only game of the last three that the line didn't dominate came against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday. Ironically, Aho still managed two points (1 goal, 1 assist).

Based on his recent host streak, I would put his odds at -120, so I'm happy as Larry with the -110 price.

Connor McDavid Over 1.5 assists (+152) vs. Sharks

As is usually the case with No. 97, he's more productive on home ice, with 40 assists in 32 games. And the Hart Trophy odds contender has a goal or assist on 48% of Oiler goals, the best of any player.

He bagged three assists at home against the Nashville Predators on Sunday, and he is facing a San Jose Sharks team he had three helpers against in the last head-to-head.

I also like the chances of him setting up Leon Draisaitl, as the German scored in both previous tilts with the Sharks. I'd prefer to lock him in the Over 1.5-point prop, but his odds are at -150, shorter than Martin Short.

Jack Eichel anytime goal (+180) vs. Sabres

The Eichel Tower is at his most imperious against his former team, netting six in the previous five head-to-heads.

While that tidbit is promising, I'm more interested in the Golden Knights' play in the last two games, outscoring the Pittsburgh Penguins and Chicago Blackhawks 10-2 at T-Mobile Arena.

They are facing the league's hottest team, but the Sabres will dip at some point. Even if they don't in Sin City, Eichel will be lurking, omnipresent and formidable. It's also nice that he netted in three of the previous four.

🚀 Best NHL parlay picks today

By picking two goal-scorer props and a plus-money McDavid play, the likelihood of the SGP cashing decreases. Keep that in mind when deciding whether to pull the trigger on the four-leg play, and invest accordingly.

I'm only putting 0.1 unit ($1) on the wager because of its 3.3% chance of cashing.

💡 How I'm betting NHL player props today

Follow all of our NHL analysis and expert predictions this season.

As you can see from my 20-35 player prop record, I haven't been as successful as I'd like thus far in March. The majority of my picks have been goal-scorer props, which offer higher potential profit but a lower likelihood of success.

Many of my picks have just missed, meaning the player I picked scores the game after I back them. Or, in various other cases, they notch one or two assists but don't score.

That's why, despite my high confidence level, I'm investing just half a unit ($5) in all the plus-money picks.
