It's medal time, and I'm dropping my best Finland vs. Slovakia predictions to get you set for the bronze medal game at 2:40 p.m. ET on Saturday.

The opening line has installed the Finns as a -205 betting favorite despite losing their opening game to Slovakia. Will history repeat itself? Let's dive in.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Finland vs. Slovakia prediction & best bet: Finland -1.5 (+138)

Finland was a couple of minutes away from punching their ticket to the gold medal game, so you know they're going to be playing with a bad taste in their mouth against Slovakia. Not to mention they opened their tournament with a 4-1 loss to the Slovaks despite outshooting them 40-25. They won't underestimate them with a medal on the line - expect a suffocating, disciplined performance from the Finns, and for Sebastian Aho and Mikko Rantanen to answer the bell.

Score prediction: Finland 3, Slovakia 1

๐Ÿ”ฅ Best Finland vs. Slovakia player prop bet: Mikko Rantanen anytime goal scorer (+105)

Rantanen has been lethal on the man advantage throughout the 2026 Olympics. In the semifinal against Canada, he opened the scoring by burying a goal just three seconds into a power play off a clean faceoff win by Aho.

If Slovakia takes a handful of trips to the penalty box, Finlandโ€™s NHL-heavy top unit (which includes Aho, Roope Hintz, and Miro Heiskanen) will be their greatest weapon - and Rantanen will score as a result. He ranks in the 98th percentile for high-danger shots at the Olympics, so you can fire this one up with confidence.

๐Ÿ’ก How I'm betting Finland vs. Slovakia

Saturday's Olympic card is going against small sample trends, with unit sizes adjusted based on where I see the strongest value. While I typically keep plus-money plays closer to 0.3 units, the Rantanen wager, and his ability to constantly generate high-danger scoring chances, is one of those spots where the data supports increasing exposure to a full unit. All in, Iโ€™m risking about $150 - 3 total units, with my standard unit size set at $50.
