Best Blues vs. Capitals Player Props: NHL Prop Bet Picks for Nov. 5

Robert Thomas returned from injury Monday to help the St. Louis BLues snap a seven-game skid, and I’m backing him to come up big again tonight in my Blues vs. Capitals player props and NHL best bets for Wednesday.
The red-hot Dylan Strome is poised to counter for the Washington Capitals, who are the -150 moneyline betting favorite for tonight’s nationally-televised matchup at Capital One Arena in Washington at 7:30 p.m. ET (TNT). I’m rounding out my trio of picks by fading a Caps fan-favorite with a plus-money wager.

💵 Best Blues vs. Capitals player prop bets
💰 Best Blues vs. Capitals player props
⬆️ Dylan Strome player prop: Over 1.5 shots (-155) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
After missing two games with a lower-body injury, Washington’s top-line center returned to the lineup Saturday with a goal and six shots on net against the Buffalo Sabres. Excluding the game in which he suffered the injury, when he played only four shifts, Strome has now recorded 11 points in his last six outings.
He’s also been a consistent shot producer, attempting at least three shots in each of the last eight full games he’s played. BetMGM’s -155 odds, which imply just a 60.78% probability, look like a bargain on Strome to record multiple shots tonight. A $10 bet can return $6.45 in profit.
We have another Strome prop in our best prop bets & anytime goal scorer predictions.
⬇️ Tom Wilson player prop: Under 0.5 points (+125) ⭐⭐⭐
Wilson earned points in seven of eight games to start the season, but he’s cooled off dramatically since, posting just two points in his last four.
He’s also attempted only four shots in his last four games, hit the net just seven times in his last five, and been held to two shots or fewer in six of his last seven.
BetMGM is just one of our best sports betting sites to list Wilson Under 0.5 points at +125 odds, implying a 44.44% chance he’s held off the scoresheet again. A winning $10 bet pays $12.50.

🥅 Best Blues vs. Capitals anytime goal scorer prediction
🔥 Robert Thomas anytime goal scorer (+280) ⭐⭐⭐
After being held without a point in four of his first five games, Thomas has rattled off six points in his last four. He returned to the Blues’ lineup Monday after missing four games with a lower-body injury and looked no worse for wear, recording a goal and an assist.
Thomas has also been looking to shoot more recently, attempting nine shots in his last two full games and hitting the net six times. When he was on the ice in those two games, St. Louis had a 63% share of unblocked shot attempts, per Moneypuck.
You could find +280 on Thomas anytime goal scorer at FanDuel and DraftKings, giving us a chance at a $28 payout if he finds the net again tonight. Those odds imply a 26.32% probability.
