Jarvis to score is a situational pick. I'm not blind to the fact that Jarvis doesn't score at a prolific rate. However, the 23-year-old has been Johnny on the spot against the Capitals recently, netting five in the last seven meetings, including three in the previous three.

Stone was impressive in Games 5 and 6 against the Wild, scoring in each. He bossed proceedings, using his body positioning and sheer force to find space. He also has the ability to cause havoc in front of the net, with a propensity to tip one past Calvin Pickard. 

He doesn't score a ton of goals, and the +230 odds at DraftKings reflect that. But I'm banking on the fact that Stone is feeling it entering Game 1. He's also a big-game player, rising to the occasion when the lights shine brightest. It looks like he landed in the right place. If Stone scores, you'll earn $23 on a $10 winning wager.

Draisaitl hasn't scored in two games. That's like an Italian going without an espresso on consecutive mornings. He scored three goals in six games against the Los Angeles Kings, two of which were on the road.

There's also this little tidbit: the Hart Trophy finalist lit the lamp six - yes, six - times in the first two games in Vegas when these teams last met in the playoffs. He scored four goals in Game 1 of that 2022-23 second-round series. There's almost no chance of that happening again, but that's also what I said while watching the miracle in Winnipeg a few days ago.
