My best Texans vs. Patriots same-game parlay for Sunday’s 3 p.m. ET (ESPN/ABC) NFL Divisional Round game at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., focuses on successes I expect the Texans to have in this game. The Patriots are favored by 3, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Texans win outright.

The Texans’ defense has been phenomenal this year, which could pose problems for Drake Maye. Below, I also explain what the absence of Nico Collins means for the Texans’ offense. For more coverage of this game, check out our NFL playoff predictions.

Texans +3 (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Texans have rattled off 10 consecutive wins, defeating four playoff teams during that span. That’s more wins than the Patriots have had against playoff teams all year. The Texans’ second-ranked scoring defense will keep the Patriots off the scoreboard, as their sixth-ranked pass defense stifles the Patriots’ fourth-ranked attack.

Drake Maye Over 0.5 interceptions (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Maye only has eight interceptions this season, but the Texans picked off 19 passes during the regular season, tied for the third-most. Maye has thrown a pick in all three Patriots’ losses this season. He threw one last week against the Chargers, who also had 19 interceptions this year.

Christian Kirk Over 4.5 receptions (+152) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kirk had the fifth-most regular-season receptions of any Texan player (28), but last week, he caught eight of nine targets for 144 yards. Collins’ absence means more targets for Kirk as the Texans try to throw against a defense that allowed the third-fewest yards per completion this season (9.9).
