My Texans vs. Patriots player props factor in cold weather and elite defenses in play for this Divisional Round matchup, which has by far the lowest total of the weekend (40.5).

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. (ABC/ESPN), with the Patriots a 3-point betting favorite as part of our NFL Divisional Round predictions.

💰 Texans vs. Patriots best prop bet: Drake Maye Over 219.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Follow all of our NFL analysis and betting advice for the 2026 NFL playoffs.

In a matchup of strength-on-strength, I'm backing Drake Maye to come out on top.

Maye's passing yardage total is too low, even going against Houston's ferocious pass rush. The second-team All-Pro just threw for nearly 270 yards last week against the Chargers' top-five pass defense.

Maye led the league in yards per attempt this season, so he won't need to complete many passes to go Over this total. DraftKings offers a slightly lower number than FanDuel at similar odds.

C.J. Stroud Over 0.5 interceptions (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

C.J Stroud is coming off one of the sloppiest games of his career, fumbling five times in the cold in Pittsburgh. He'll have to contend with frigid conditions again in New England on Sunday, as I explored in my NFL weather report.

With top receiver Nico Collins likely missing this matchup, it's even more probable that Stroud has to force passes into tight coverage against the Patriots. I'm placing my wager on this prop at DraftKings' market-best -120 odds.

Our Mike Spector also targets Stroud to throw a pick as part of his NFL best bets.

Hunter Henry anytime touchdown (+195) ⭐⭐⭐

Hunter Henry cashed my TD ticket last week by scoring in the Wild Card Round, and my rationale behind backing the Patriots tight end remains the same.

New England continues to split carries between running backs Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson, making Henry the most likely option to reach the end zone in this matchup.

He leads the Pats with eight receiving scores this season. The best sports betting sites are aligned at +195 on a Henry anytime touchdown.
