This year's Super Bowl is still two weeks away, but you can already bet on the 2027 Super Bowl odds with a few familiar teams at the top of the early odds.

The Seattle Seahawks, who lead the Super Bowl odds for this year's Big Game, opened as the betting favorites to win it all next season after winning 14 games this season behind a historically dominant defense. They're tied with the Los Angeles Rams, whom they beat in a thrilling NFC Championship on Sunday.

Those two are priced ahead of the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots, who both feature elite quarterbacks with roster questions elsewhere. The Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, and Green Bay Packers are the only other teams with shorter than 15/1 odds by the early 2027 Super Bowl odds.

Here's a look at the opening odds to win next year's Super Bowl, along with my early prediction and favorite long shots to win the Lombardi Trophy next season.

😤 Seahawks, Rams lead Super Bowl betting favorites for 2027

After battling this year in one of the best division races in NFL history, the Seahawks and Rams aren't going anywhere next year - at least according to the early Super Bowl odds.

Both Seattle and Los Angeles ranked in the top 10 all-time in DVOA this season with the NFL's best offense (Rams) and defense (Seahawks) led by two of the best head coaches in the NFL. While some of the pieces will inevitably shuffle from this year to next, it's easy to envision another dominant season from these teams en route to another NFC Championship matchup between Mike Macdonald and Sean McVay.

The biggest X-factor is Rams QB Matthew Stafford, who closed as the NFL MVP odds favorite this season but could decide to retire this offseason after battling a major back injury and other ailments throughout the season. He'll turn 38 one day before the Super Bowl this year, but if he returns, he'll have a great shot at his second Lombardi Trophy.

🔮 Prediction to win Super Bowl 2027: Baltimore Ravens (+1300)

I will admit here in a public forum that I have a problem. Every year, I bet on the Ravens with the expectation that their elite roster talent - led by two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson and multiple All-Pro stars on defense - will break through in the postseason. And every January, a fumble (or three) derails those well-laid plans.

What if coaching really was the issue, though? After all, Baltimore blew more fourth-quarter leads under John Harbaugh than any team in the league, even while posting the NFL's fourth-best win-loss record (76-41, 65%) and second-best margin of victory (+7.1) since Jackson took over as starter in 2019. That includes four seasons with 11-plus wins, which overlap with the four healthiest seasons of Jackson's career.

If the Ravens' star QB can stay on the field and their new head coach Jesse Minter can work his magic on a defense with high-end talent to play with, it's hard for me to point to another team outside of Seattle with a better profile in 2026. There's real potential in Baltimore this year (as usual), and if Minter's team can avoid the costly mistakes that plagued his predecessor, we'd return our wager 13 times over. How can I turn that down?

💰 Super Bowl long shots to bet now

Follow all of our NFL analysis and betting advice for Super Bowl 2026 and beyond.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+2000)

I expected the Jaguars to reach the Super Bowl before their frustrating home playoff loss in the wild-card round, which was still an impressive result in Liam Coen's first year taking over a team that opened as one of the NFL's biggest title long shots. He also helped turn QB Trevor Lawrence into an MVP finalist - a welcome sign for those of us who have held onto their belief in the former No. 1 pick as a true difference-making passer.

Defense is hard to project year-to-year, but the Jaguars' defense was a truly elite unit this year under first-year coordinator Anthony Campanile. If he returns next year alongside Coen and Lawrence on the offensive end, they'll form one of the best QB-playcaller trios in the league with young roster talent galore. I'll take that at 20/1 odds.

Cincinnati Bengals (+2200)

The Bengals have some serious issues, but Joe Burrow isn't one of them - besides staying on the field. The former No. 1 pick missed nearly all of last season with a knee injury, but he returned late in the season and looked like the QB who led the league in passing yards to finish fourth in MVP the year before.

With Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins under contract, Cincinnati's front office can focus serious attention on addressing the offensive and defensive lines, especially with the Bengals expected to have among the league leaders in cap space for 2026. But let's be honest: I'm always going to be intrigued by a Burrow-led team at these long-shot odds.

Chicago Bears (+2200)

Throughout the 2025 NFL season, the Bears looked every bit like a team that was a year away from being a serious threat to win the Super Bowl. They almost accelerated the timeline in Ben Johnson's first season as head coach with an NFC North title and a thrilling playoff run, coming oh-so-close to beating the Rams in the divisional round.

You don't need to squint to see the potential for QB Caleb Williams heading into his third season in Chicago, and Johnson will have this run game dialed up to be one of the league's best as he did in his debut season with the Bears. There's room to grow for a defense that showed serious potential when healthy, too. This might be the most fun Super Bowl bet you can make right now, and there's legit upside to cash it in a year.

Minnesota Vikings (+5500)

Remember when the Vikings were one of the NFL's hottest preseason bets in 2025 with a developing quarterback in J.J. McCarthy and a menacing defense led by hot-shot coordinator Brian Flores? That's still the case heading into 2026, but we're getting much better value after what was considered a disappointing 9-8 season.

I'm not exactly sold on McCarthy after an up-and-down debut season as starter, but injuries were a legitimate issue for the former Michigan star, and the team still finished with a winning record even with such inconsistent QB play. That's a credit to Flores, who will likely return as defensive coordinator. At this price, I'm willing to take another shot and trust that Kevin O'Connell can help facilitate growth in Year 3 with McCarthy.

Atlanta Falcons (+8000)

I'm ready to get hurt again by the Falcons, who suffer from a Ravens-like habit of teasing elite roster talent before falling apart in key moments. They, too, replaced their head coach this year while serving as an intriguing landing spot for Kevin Stefanski, a two-time Coach of the Year winner with a knack for getting the most out of limited offensive talent.

Imagine what he can do with Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts - all of whom finished with at least 800 yards receiving last season. (Yes, Bijan had 820 receiving yards in addition to 1,478 rushing yards.) Whether it's Michael Penix Jr. or Kirk Cousins under center, I'm a believer in this team taking a step forward next year with Stefanski and rising defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, whose unit could develop into one of the NFL's best next year.
